In realated Jeff Hardy news the court case has been pushed back again and it looks like he is off tv for a while now...I am just wondering what evidence still needs tested and what charges Jeff is pleading to and what kind of sentence he is going to receive in the plea deal.

Going into the fight Jones thought that he'd be successful taking Rua down and he did so 30 seconds into the fight landing a bunch of punches and elbows. Start of the 2nd round caught Rua with a spinning backfist before taking him down again. I forget the total punches thrown/landed but Jones more than doubled Rua before knocking him out in the 3rd. Was total domination really.

Anderson Silva fights in the lower weight class me thinks it'd be the same outcome. Silva and Jones very similar in a lot of ways.
Maybe, but Rua would be bigger and stronger in a lower weight class. He got tossed around like a ragdoll in the fight against Jones...and Jones isn't even the biggest/strongest fighter in the class.

Im curious/excited for Sin Cara to show up in the WWE, while before I would fear that they used him right, they have been doing good by other wrestlers who had made names for themselves outside of the WWE as of late. CM Punk and Daniel Bryan in my opinion has been just about flawless.
I won't be watching it live but i'll probably rent the dvd or something.

And interesting enough 3 of the 4 cities that I truly respect and admire as a pro wrestling crowd and would love to attend a major PPV at are cities I'd hate being in. That being Chicago, Philadelphia, and New York City. The 4th being Toronto, but I may actually like to go there sometime.

I don't watch TNA on a regular basis but every time I do tune in- Ric Flair, Hogan, Bischoff and Sting are playing a major role on tv (which is wrong), The people who were heels are now good and the people who were being cheered are now bad and the characters seemed to be completely rehashed every few weeks (I look at Eric Young for example), and no matches ever seem to end cleanly and wind up with all sorts of crazy outside interference. So yeah sounds like WCW to the max.

I'm going to sum up my thoughts about Wrestlemania in a few simple words that I tweeted to Frankie early on in the night.
I just got done reading the results, I concur. Though I think I would have enjoyed HHH vs Undertaker minus the ending. The ending to Cena vs Miz though makes me happy though.

Taker v HHH was the highlight of the night, by far. It was a 10 while everything else was at a 7 or worse. If not for The Rock's involvement in the final match, Taker v HHH would've and should've been the main event.
They always do milk the hell out of Undertakers entrance/exit. Look at his match vs Kane at WMXX, his entrance was longer than the match.

I (like everyone else it seems) was totally annoyed by the intros & exits from the HHH vs Taker match. Seemed like they were as long as the match.
Instead of talking of what we didn't like about this wrestlemania lets turn this frown upside down and answer this question: What is your most favorite PPV you have seen?
For me it still is ECW Heatwave 98 and I have yet to see another card top to bottom that has topped this event.

Taz vs BamBam Bigelow
Tommy Dreamer, Spike Dudley & Sandman vs Buh Buh Ray, D-von and Big Dick Dudley- This match was a car wreck in the best possible way, the things that happened in this match and everyone involved made this a great way to end this PPV. I may actually go back and watch some of these matches tonight, talking about it has made me very nostalgic.

Another killer 3 way dance w/ Taz, Mike Awesome and Masato Tanaka for the ECW world title. This was Taz's last match with the company and Mike Awesome wasn't even billed on this PPV and ended up winning the title.
RVD vs. Balls Mahoney match for the Television title really showed that Balls could wrestle his ass off.
Hardcore Heaven '99: RVD and Jerry Lynn's no time limit match for the Television title is THE best match they've had against each other.
Tazz vs. Buh Buh Ray Dudley falls count anywhere match for the ECW world title was one of the most bloody and brutal matches for the belt.
Hardcore Heaven 2000:
The Balls Mahoney vs Masato Tanaka is THE best opening match to any PPV ever; so many chairs shot were had in this match.
The Tajiri vs Steve Corino and Sandman vs. Rhino Televison title match are probably the most brutal matches in ECW's history. And Sandman's wife getting piledrived through a table by Rhino is probably one of the most shocking moments in wrestling history.

The "I Quit" match between Tommy Dreamer vs. CW Anderson will never be topped.
Rhino basically stealing the ECW world title from beaten and battered Sandman mere minutes after he won the belt in a 3 day Stairway to Hell match against Justin Credible and Steve Corino pissed alot of people off.
This was also ECW's last PPV before going out of business so it's memorable in alot of fans' minds'. :sad10:

Did you ever see Super crazy vs Tajiri's first match, blood? Tajiri looked so completely different- clean shaven, blue trunks instead of the black pants. But basically they went in as complete unknowns where no one knew who to cheer to both of them both being offered a fulltime job with ECW and is one of the best matches I have ever seen. combination mexican surfboard with a dragon sleeper- the crowds reaction to that move was worth it alone. And the finish to that match was amazing.
Also Tajiri vs Psicosis is one of the best matches I've ever seen.
I prefered RVD vs Jerry lynn's first ppv match at living dangerously over hardcore heaven though they are both amazing.
