Started modding for a model about 3 weeks ago , i have created a tonne of well made stylish gifs and menus and it helps break up the monotony when its quiet or if there is too much focus on chat.

I think she appreciates it as said thanked me for do this , she worked at a studio but now self employed still has a sizeable fan base without the alt accounts.

The problem is , i chat to her like i would anyone else and between her work there is just a normal freindly sometimes very funny interaction.

The issue is i think maybe i am doing too much

When shes busy shes busy and will stay online as long as possible, she has told me what her daily aim is so , i enjoy her show so i dont mind helping.

When its quiet like really quiet alot of the stuff i created helps break up the monotony quite a bit, any time i say i gotta go she will log off or go on a break shortly after, so i think modding is helpful to her show,

But at the same time i wonder how much of that is just physically and mentally draining to a) watch a blank screen for prolonged periods or occasionally a pretty shiny and quirky looking stream of gifs, i imagine its better than looking at a blank screen alot of the day

But wonder maybe i should take a break and not mod every single day , she said she likes them but you would wonder are they draining , today she logged on very early as she always does then after about 2 hours about maybe 600 to 1000tokens lifted about 15 to 20 gifs between me and another mod i said gotta go be back later. Checked about 30 minutes later she was offline.

She was yawning start of the show, so makes me ask is if its a drain , when i dont mod she seems to have to work harder becaude there is no guidance or direction in the chat, but i would imagine just the nature of the dynamic draining with mods included.

Do you prefer mods in the room when its quiet or no

When i stick around and mod she seems to stick around for hours even if its quiet

But it can be draining and especially for the model to keep a constant stream of visual stimulis in a very inconsistent room . She gets about 500 viewers average at a given time throughout the day, alot of people dont tip or talk , and when no one is modding its just a stream of random questions and chatter

You would wonder wether the model would prefer to interact with that than have a mod

I dont mind modding and i like the model but it can be very tedious with the amount of non tippers

Maybe her room would progress more without mods as often ? Yeah viewers can be a drain , and mods help create a boundary. People seem to chat just to see what they can get away with without tipping so i would imagine mods are good from that aspect , at the same time the tools used to keep a presence i would imagine could also be annoying

General answer to mod stuff:

Most models do not need a mod. Mods are really only helpful when the model has an extremely active chat during a time where her hands are busy with other things or she is busy with a show to the point where reading/responding to everything in the chat would interfere with the show she is putting on. Because the only real reason to have a mod is so that they can help silence disruptive members/rein in the chat when the model is unable to (basically when it would disrupt her show).

There is really no need to have a mod in a slow room, especially when the model is not doing much at the time.

Mods should not talk for the model by “creating boundaries” with other members for the model or push other members to tip. That is the model’s job.

A lot of members (I’d wager most) also find excessive gif posting off putting.

Yes i notice this in most shows and it is annoying, almost every mod seems to do it by habit

I mostly put up flashy signs for tip menu or follow her or promote her toys or socials

Yeah but you arent a man , and men are visual
I am a model and those are borderline seizure inducing. They're visually unappealing on an "ow my brain" human level.

The only visual a man needs is the model on cam. If you have to be told or reminded to tip, you're doing it wrong.

Have you ever been to a strip club or night club or any theater style production all have flashing lights to make you look but not too long and make quick decisions about what is appealling ie the model

I use these when its quiet as hell

Why do you think all strip shows have flashing lights
You are not the most important person in there Johnny the model is. If the model doesn't feel comfortable and happy, then she will not give a good show to other people. There's nothing else to say.

Also you started this out arguing that the gifs were too much and now you're arguing they aren't, it's kind of neggy. And attention grabby. Make your damn decision about it and be done already. We got real s*** to worry about.

Of course she's f****** been to a strip club who hasn't. Jesus f****** Christ! Holy f****** s*** I wish some people would get something real to worry about!

I dont understand Why so defensive its literally a question about these gifs and my point of view on them wether there helpful or not if they are attention grabby fair enough thats sort of the idea though with a room full of non tippers but i understand what your saying

Maybe i should just ask her if she wants me to tone them down

I'm not defensive. You're annoying. You keep making posts about being a mod that are overthinking and annoying. It just seems like manipulation and attention getting stuff. And it's irritating.

I'm done with this cuz I got real life s*** to do. But here's the thing you started out arguing that the gifs were maybe a little much. All she did was agree with you, and now you're getting weird about it. I cannot stand when people do that. If you're the getting that defensive about it then keep it in your own head to begin with for f*** sakes!

There's these things called journals. To work out your goddamn thoughts.

Just my personal opinion, but one that seems to be shared by a lot of camsite members, most gifs, especially when they overtake the chat, are tacky.

Members don’t need to be told or reminded by other members to tip, follow, etc. Would you like it if you felt as if another man was telling you what to do and how to spend your money/time?

Have you ever been to a strip club or night club

I have years of experience working in high end strip clubs and I worked for years at one of the most popular nightclubs in my hometown.

With that being said, strip clubs/nightclubs are not equatable to a cam room. So your flashing lights/gifs point is moot.

Yet every other mod in this room does it . In most room you have tip notes in this room you have dudes just saying i would fuck yout until xyandz thats like 60% of the room

I am...
  1. A man
  2. A mod/knight
  3. A former strip club DJ for 12 years. (Including 2 of the clubs mentioned in Motley Crue's - Girls Girls Girls)
These are absolutely horrid.
You defending them like they are the greatest thing since sliced bread is equally horrid.

Yes, you should take a break from modding and from making, and even worse, using, these GIFs

Locking thread since absolutely nothing will convince @jonnymangos that he's wrong, even though everyone here agrees that the gifs are irritating to the eyes and to anyone who has to see them in a chat room. They have no place there, but @jonnymangos will continue to do it anyway because he loves them/the idea that he's helping the model he mods for.
