I put this in the daily thoughts thread but I feel like it would be weird to have a thread about sloths and not include it. This is its true home!

It also got autotuned.

Also, I think that Kristen Bell is as adorable as a Sloth. I think that we should nominate her for honorary Sloth-hood.

How could they get it so right with Greed, and so wrong with sloth?

Agree entirely, she is so cute in that clip.

And more sloth porn...

So that Amber doesn't have to post the picture, for anyone who is lost, Amber posted this in the daily thoughts thread.

I suggest... no. I request... uhuh.... I DEMAND we stop talking about guns around this forum and instead speak of Ikea Monkeys, Slow Lorises and Sloths instead.

We survived the Mayan Apocalypse, so let's celebrate cute and fun things instead of weapons for a while, at least.

She then posted a pic of it in all the gun threads. For those wondering what a Slow Loris is, Frankie posted this video in the Elementary School shooting thread:

And remarked that they are an endangered species, but people keep trying to have them as pets (cause, they're so damn cute!)

Personally, my favorite animal is the white tiger, which of course is rare. x.x

(German speech, American subtitles)

But in the spirit of the thread, Lemur!

Even though I'd never have an exotic pet, I've always liked them as a concept. One of my favorite paintings--my fetish? lol--is "Lady With An Ermine."

Sloths are such amazing creatures. Cute--even cuddly, and they seem to only want to please (yeah, perception only, I'm sure). Even when attacked by a raptor, leopard or other predator, they "seem" to accept their fate happily. I wonder if when Al Capp created the Shmoo, he was thinking of sloths. Shmoos lived only to die and leave a gift. Say, you were hungry and wanted a Big Mac? Just stare at a shmoo hungrily and it'd die and leave you a burger, with a happy smile on its face.

Per Amber's request, I bring you a baby sugar glider and a baby albino hedgehog (she didn't request the hedgehog but it's damn cute!) courtesy of my brother and his desire to have small baby animals as pets. They are both legal to have as pets in the US too.

Apparently baby hedgehogs are capable of barfing on their own backs too. Hmm, who'd have thought! They're not easy to bathe either according to my brother, rotfl.

Sugar gliders make great pj pants warmers, so I've been told.

When my brother owned a pet store, he refused to carry sugar gliders, because most people killed them within a month or two. He had sugar gliders once, because someone he trusted to care for them properly special ordered them.

Then again, this was a bunch of people, the kind of whom will get a dog and never train it, who don't really pay attention to their pets more than once or twice a week. *shudders*
