And the latest SpaceX rocket went up in flames. But that's perfectly fine pollution because SCIENCE. Fuck every last one of these people right up the ass with a rusty chainsaw and super glue as lube.

fucking hate that im doing this. gonna play devil advocate. i lived near cape canaverl for 6 years. husband grew up there and family has been with NASA since the beginning. i had to know the launch schedule because the sound and vibrations would be picked up on my cam.

rockets blowing up is so common. normally test flights are to see if they blow up or not.

I found something interesting. Judging by his recent behavior, Zelensky seems to be producing a political showpiece. I don't think there is a strong military capability in Europe right now. Once Ukraine lacks US support, they can never be a winner in this war. I think Zelensky needs to change his mind. If the US does not support Ukraine, then Russia will easily take Ukraine and pose an irreversible threat to Europe. Europe also needs to face up to their military capabilities when de-industrialized.

I didn't think the US system could get more f***ed up
It makes me physically nauseated, and I feel sorry for those of you with active ovaries. Maybe you would be better off denying access until human decency and compassion is restored over there.
She was only NINE weeks pregnant when they put her on life support.

what the actual fuck?

And apparently other articles are showing images of her at near full term pregnancy, which are pics from her first child pregnancy. Super misleading.

speaking of abortion laws, has ACB turned out to be not quite as awful as originally intended after her help overturning RvW?

It’s wild how many people are offended that she would stick up for the authority of the courts because she “owes Trump.”

These people really think the role of a presidential appointee is to do favors for the person that appointed them, for the rest of their lives. If that were the case, there’d be no practical reason to even have branches of government.

This shit used to be basic knowledge. Like “Schoolhouse Rock” basic. The populace has allowed its bias to turn them historic new levels of dumb.

I feel Politicians and Karens and Kevins from down the block should keep their own preferences out of medical decisions that must be made by patients and their doctors
they aren't medical personnel and don't know specifics of the situation

meanwhile like 60,000 tons of food is currently going to waste in warehouses due to trumps cuts to USAID.

party of pro-life my ASS. MILLIONS of children are going hungry or dying from starvation while all that food rots away. along with schoolhouse rock, they need to revisit the classic children's bible song, jesus loves the little children.

But if we aren't all gatekept from meeting our basic needs due to being poor, how can trump and elon continue to feel financially superior?

Speaking of Elon... is he being pushed back out of the WH now? It feels like things have shifted.

He's still there but Republicans are keeping his name out of their mouths as their constituents fill up their email and voice mail and mail boxes with complaints. Midterms are coming up, they're on thin ice.

I don’t go on X hardly ever these days, but I did see a few instances this year where Elon was openly threatening to primary Republicans that didn’t fall in line with his actions. I’m hoping, as you mentioned, that the reality is the opposite (that they’re more likely to be primary’d for bowing to Elon than for crossing him).

But therein lies the problem of Elon controlling one of the biggest megaphones in the world, X/Twitter. He controls the entire platform, the messaging it chooses to amplify, the posts that get surfaced, and the ones that don’t. If he wants it to appear that “the people” overwhelmingly support him, that’s how it’ll look. On X/Twitter, anyway. What you see there might not have anything to do with reality. The danger is in folks not realizing that, and seeing a bunch of rah-rah Elon praise and falling in with the imaginary “pack.”

X, as a platform, can’t be trusted. It’s now a propaganda machine for a man with billions to gain from controlling the message. Which sucks, because I know a lot of well-meaning people who don’t agree with Elon’s tactics but still need to use X for business reasons. I switched platforms, but I’d be lying if I said I didn’t lose some traction and valued interactions in doing so.

It's also suspicious that he's barred the ability to view posts without an account. I haven't read anything on X in months because I have no way to do so.

Trump administration ends Harvard's ability to enrol international students

I was confused how this was even an option for them to do this because I thought Harvard was a private tuition school that could make their own decisions on who they enroll. But it turns out 68% of their funding comes from the federal government. So I guess they feel they have to bend to whatever crazy shit the administration wants that day.
