This is sadly becoming more common here. When someone states their opinion, if its at all controversial, or too long winded, it seems more than a few frequently jump right to the gutter and go all 2nd grade on that person instead of acting like rational educated adults. Some of you folks get unnecessarily judgmental and nasty really fast. I can't help but wonder if there's such a bipolar shift so easily over words, then in kind, I wonder if the sweet candy and lipgloss image you present for the world to see isn't simply a false mask to hide the real person.... Personally, I find this pretty funny since I haven't seen ANY of the girls personally attack ANYONE in this thread.
Last I checked expressing an opposing opinion wasn't a personal attack. The worst that's happened is speculating that someone is a troll, and considering the amount of them that roll through here on a constant basis I don't think thats too big a deal.

But would you look at who HAS resorted to childish second grade name calling?

What is the point in have any disscussion at all on any subject if members are going to act in such a stupid way simply because they hold a diiferant view.

Burton, I realize you were being heavily scrutinized. I personally understand some of the points that you made, but not everyone can handle such unpopular opinion being discussed here. As for the rest of this thread: I realize many of you feel very strongly against everything a few of these guys have defended. You're beyond disgusted by the content being discussed, and feel the need to go out of your way to argue how wrong it is. While I think some of the posts got quite... silly... (lack of better word)... I think blame falls on both sides of the argument for words chosen and tone used.

Most of this thread was all in the name of a good debate, but it got really silly and lost its constructive vibe pages ago. Clearly there is no reasoning with people who are this heavy in their convictions to either one side or the other of this discussion. Thus, we bid it adieu.
