Personally, I prefer Clips4Sale and Niteflirt over Manyvids. You see; I create erotic Machinima, Animation ,Stop-Motion, and audio clips.. My work is usually very fetish-based and covers controversial subjects. Clips4Sale and Niteflirt customers has welcome my work with welcome arms. I always make a massive payout on Clips4sale and Niteflirt with my clips. Meanwhile, it takes awhile to make payout on Manyvids for me.

If you say that there isn't alot of fetish stuff on MV, you're excluding breast fetishism and buttocks fetishism.

Everything can be a fetish/kink. A fetish simply means something you find pleasing (doesn't even have to be sexual). A kink is something that a person feels they need in order to sexually get off.

When people say fetish they usually mean "niche fetishes"

Thing about MV is the members normally buy non-niche (also typically known as vanilla) videos there, such as masturbation, pussy, breast, ass...

:cat:As a content creator; I would say that I have seen ManyVids buy more vanilla content. Even if they buy animation....they buy the vanilla works only.ManyVids customers do not buy most of my niche stuff. My machinima and animation work is different than live action work. ManyVids customers will only buy animation or machinima if it has a vanilla look and feel. Thus, many erotic machinimists and animators are more welcome on Clips4Sale and Niteflirt because you can do more within those fetishes and outside of animation/machinima fetishes.

I was talking about my work only. ManyVids customers do not buy most of my niche stuff. My machinima and animation work is different than live action work. So, tit and ass fetishes do not apply to my work at all.
I was referring to anybody on here that says MV doesn't have much fetish stuff.

I have to agree with the statement that MV customers wants more vanilla things than fetish stuff. They might be into like light domination or ass worship. If it is a fetish, than it is more of a light fetish. That is what I have seen as an content creator. Personally, I think that Manyvids is great for selling merchandise such as panties and lifetime texting packages.

They may have it but it doesn't sell. I recently closed my MV account due to many reasons but mainly because I make nothing on there and since I heavily produce fetish/femdom content it doesn't sell on MV. I could go 2-4 months (or more) and not make payout. Yet I can support my family with C4S alone every month for the last 2 years without any live cam work involved.

Breast/ass fetish is still very mainstream, enough so that most content producers consider it to be vanilla.

However, like other ladies have said, fetish content there just doesn't sell. I had a store full of fetish content, and it would take me 6 months to a year to make payout, even while uploading regularly, whereas with Clips4sale, I frequently make payout even during months that I don't upload content. My highest-selling clips on Clips4sale and other fetish sites rarely if ever sold. Someone did actually buy all my hair brushing clips on Manyvids once, and another person bought all my high heel clips, but that's massively rare.

I could be way off here but I thought you were a domme. You'd probably be a much better fit for C4S than you think. Whenever I use C4S, the top ranked sellers seem to be about 50% dommes, 50% miscellaneous fetish.

In fact! Here's some highly scientific research with the domme stores in the top 40 highlighted using my superior Paint skillz.

Double post! Now that I read more of the thread, I agree that MV isn't the ideal place for femdom. That said, I do okay on there (My MV link here)... enough to not close down my account, anyway. I'm currently MV girl #244 and that's without promoting it at all and simply having my stuff on there and submitting a blog every once in a while. I don't think that's bad, considering they have about 6100 girls on there now. I make a few hundred a month. Certainly this is nothing to get crazy about and I make on cam or on other clip sites (such as Clips4Sale) in one day than what I make on MV in one month but I choose to keep it up for a little extra each month. This all makes me feel like MV is a low earning site in general though. If I can be #244 with only a few hundred a month... perhaps only the top 50 really make anything significant? No idea. For sure, this is just a place to perhaps make a little extra and not to have as a main site for fetish content.

Oh... yeah... no, I knew that... I totally knew that... this was just a test to see if you knew that... and you, you passed the test... so well done -_-

As a buyer, I think Clips4sale is chaos. It's way easier to find what you're looking for on Manyvids
setup wise, I agree! It's very user friendly, and the sign up process is easier, and clip management

@Guy Yes, there is even a non-nude category as well as tease and very plain Jane ones like toys and masturbation...just gotta look through the category list. Maybe use the search bar or control +F to find things easier. A model can make anything into a video as long as it isn't illegal and doesn't go against site rules.

Have never heard of C4S, looks like it has a lot of content

I can't believe you've never heard of C4S they have been around forever and are one of, if not the first clip store out there that really took off.

I haven't joined C4S because the site looks chaotic and sketchy, but y'all are starting to make me think I should lol
Its kind of a pain in the ass to learn the ins and outs, although they have improved and made it easier to navigate, but they have alot of traffic. I sell way more content on C4S than on manyvids and i have to agree with what @msbiancabaker said, the fetish stuff tends to sell better on C4S than it does on MV

I thought so too at first but it's definitely great to have. I like casting a wide net with content and have gotten majority of my custom orders from clips4sale as well. Plus it's amazing how simple fetish clips that take much less effort to make can do so well compared to feeling like I need to be hella creative to stand out on manyvids.

It's nice to be paid for noseblowing :D

Isn't it worth being on both sites as independent businesses? 15 minutes of work per week that could potentially be $100s in sales seems like a pretty nice revenue stream.
15 minutes of work doing....?
Each site has different requirements/restrictions on clips. I'd have to export a different version of my clips for each site I sell on, which takes longer than 15 minutes for each video alone.

@AerynShade Mannn I wish filming, editing and filling out clip store forms only took 15 minutes. :haha:

Oh for sure, that stuff takes an incredibly long tedious time! Uploading alone... (shudders)

No, I guess I meant things like titles, descriptions, social media messages, things like that. New ways to repurpose old content and schedule it for later promotion and discovery.

Yea, I do stuff like that on the regular, but that almost always takes at least an hour per video, definitely not 15 minutes. The actual tweet to advertise the video may take 15 minutes to compose and publish, but that's like THE only step in the process that takes 15 minutes.

I spend hours filming, Hours editing, hours exporting and uploading and then at least an hour doing social media/answering emails/ posting on a few forums.

No where do I spend 15 mins except maybe taking a shower when I'm done with everything.

Yeah, I apologize for not being clearer, that was what I was meaning above. Creating videos is a time consuming process, but good promoting of content can be done relatively quickly and have a tremendous impact on sales.

lol, sorry, I'll work on being more clear with what I mean in the future. Still learning all that I can and thanks for sharing!
