Hi everyone!

I'm Terry, and I'm researching how to start streaming studios in Europe. While I've had success with my past businesses , this project is a new step for me. And i generally do a lot of research about the subject before i start the process.

I’ve noticed that many models have had negative experiences with studios before, and I want to create something different—a good studio where models feel valued and supported.

From my experience, keeping the team happy leads to happy customers (even though models aren't exactly employees, the idea is the same). In the streaming world i think its very obvious that it's really hard for a model to succeed if they're not happy and working in a positive environment.
We will also create new IG/TikTok accounts with dedicated photographer/videographer for each girl to help them create a successful social so they can get external customers.

2 questions
  • Whats the average % cut or charge per day for the room studios charge? Also what would be fair for you ?
  • How long it took you to become successful streamer? How bad it was at the start?

I’d love to get your feedback:

  • Vote: Please take a few seconds to vote on what you didn’t like about past studios. (Multiple choices available)
  • Suggestions: Share any ideas or things you wish studios had, but they didn’t.
Your input will help me build a studio that truly supports its models.

(This is not a recruitment post and please for obvious reasons do not name the studio you was working with)

Thank you for your time.
Terry L

The % taken dosnt really matter tbh, since this should be offset by the value the studio provides. So the real question becomes, what value can you provide to models to make working at your studio their best choice over another studio or working independently?

I communicate a lot with Russian-speaking models and studio owners, as I maintain my modeling community in telegram, which has more than 3000 members and the topic of “what should the studio do?” comes up very often

So here are the main things people say:

  1. a studio should not just rent a room and a computer to a model. a studio should work its percentage - from helping a model with defining her category and creating content to psychological help (for example, really good studios in russia have in-house psychologists). it is not enough to just register a model on a few websites and wait for her to work. a studio and a model should be a team and together try to achieve more and more results.
  2. The studio should never have a system of “comparing” models (like “oh, look, hotlady777 has earned a million dollars and she is the top 1 in our studio, but you, notsohotlady193 is only top 5”) - many models it hits their self-esteem. in fact, I understand that such a system is necessary, but it should not be on display for models - let it be information for the administration.
  3. Hygiene should be in the first place - no shared slippers or God forbid shared toys (I sincerely hope that all studios with “shared” toys closed and their owners burned in hell).
  4. Cleaning the studio premises is the responsibility of the studio staff, but not of the model (of course, every model should clean the room after the stream or, for example, wash the dishes after themselves. But common areas should be cleaned by staff - that's not the model's job.)
  5. Fines should be only really reasonable and adequate (explanation: some studios have three sheets with a list of fines. and the prices are not adequate, such as “drank water in the frame - $20”, “late for the shift - $30 for each minute”).
These are the main things I remembered

UPD: and no coercion. for example, if a model says she doesn't WANT to do something, you don't have to force her to do it or even “gently coax” her to do it.
UPD2: perhaps the things written above may seem obvious, but..... a lot of studio owners don't realize it.
