Just got scammed $40 by a mfc model :(

Hello models and members, i rarely visit this site these days but i wanted to write this as a headsup to fellow members of camsites especially MFC.

I was on MFC during the daytime, something i rarely do so none of my model friends were online. Just bored and browsing to see what models get on around my time (UK)

Go into a model's room, she's naked on here phone, looking bored. PM her seeing as no one is really chatting in public chat anyway.
Just the usual questions , how are you ? whats up ? blabla then i mention skype shows.
She then goes "i will skype with you

, add me, name is lexi zzx"

so im thinking ok , she must want to talk more about the naughty details on skype than on mfc, so i add her, explain the things i would like to see, and she replies:
"yes ill do that stuff , i could do a ten min show for 200 tkns if you want "

so of course i'm all excited and horny, and explain to her that usually i give email giftcards of around $30-50 before the show. She says that she also accepts them, i login to my amazon.com account, purchase the giftacrd, enter the email she gave me, i then told her the giftcard was showing as "redeemed" on my order page, and she goes "hold on i check" of course i dont mind, models have obviously gotta check its legit and redeem it and stuff.
So while she's doing that i see she has twitter account, manyvids account, so the thought of her ever being a quick scammer never enters my mind.
While this is going on, i'm still on her room on MFC, browser window open and skype open both in view, i see red text on the mfc screen saying "you do not have permission to enter this room"
my heart starts racing, im like WTF ??!?!? , message on her skype, sayin "why ban ?" and she removes me from there.

I then rush onto amazon, find out how to contact them, and get to the chatbox support window. Now im thinking how the fuck do i get my money back, if i mention skype shows, models bla bla, they will be like - we dont allow this, you cant get money back.
So instead i say that i sent giftcard to the wrong person, the giftcard was for a friend in US i sent it to a email address she no longer uses.
The guy asks for the order number , checks it and tells me the giftcard has been redeemed but not spent. so im thinking ok i can still get the money back if she hasnt spent it.
The guy refers me to a guy from the giftcard department , i explain the situation to him again, and he checks it all but by this time, he tells me that the option for him to refund me isnt showing on his screen, meaning that she had now spent the giftcard!
He then tells me to contact my bank, dispute the transaction and they will contact amazon about a refund.
So contacted my bank and did that..

I'm so gutted and pissed off about this. 3 years i've been visiting mfc and also CB the odd time, and this the 2nd time i've only ever been scammed. Given about 30+ giftcards over amazon, done around the same amount of skype shows and this has completely put me off ever paying for something like this again with a new model.

I doubt MFC will give two fucks about a model scamming even if im no stranger to buying tokens.
As i said i hope fellow members see this and avoid her.
She is ruining cam sites so much by doing this and ruining the trust that is needed between models and members.

Well there definitely wont be a next time with this model.

I prefer skype because it is way better quality for me majority of the time than mfc streaming. With private i can see the tokens running down, and always feel like im rushing the model.
With skype im way more chill and fun and enjoy it more and from experience the models seems to feel the same when doing a skype with me than a pvt.
I think i've said on this site before why i prfer skype over private, but those are the main reasons.

I'm kidding, but really sorry you experienced that. As a model, I've been scammed all kinds of ways. It's just one of those things you gotta watch out for. Nothing makes you more mad when you get robbed of something whether a model or a member it can happen both ways. It's pretty unfair to do to members. Especially since girls usually require an upfront payment for services. So basically, you need to really know you can trust someone before investing any money into them.

Of course, you're shit out of luck when you're using sites that aren't sex work - friendly as payment for shows.

Stick to buying and spending tokens rather than using other forms of payment. It's safer in the long run, for everyone.

Yeah this is why i prefer to find one girl who is into doing the things im looking to see, then just continue to skype with her. I'm not a "thanks for the show, never see me again" sort of person/member.
have always given money/giftcard before the show, let the model check it, even at times told a model how to check it and redeem it with the code.

Valid points Picnic, I guess i'm just so used to skyping and giving giftcards with models over the times.
I have no issue buying tokens for flashes and stuff on mfc, but i've always preferred to give a giftcard because the model is then getting all my $ and then im getting more a show than if i had bought with tokens.

I would also just like to mention that yesterday i was doing the same thing, browsing around at earlier time.
Enter a models room, and a member PM's me saying "dont tip her or pay her, she scams, i paid for skype and she just ignores me after i sent"

I really hope this doesnt become a popular thing for models to do :/

Although, those established gals would not do a ten minute show on skype for ten dollars. It should always be a red flag when a gal low balls herself like that.

I've seen this a lot with a fav model. As a regular in her room and waiting in her room while she did skypes, I always wondered why dudes never come back and join in the room after getting such a great deal. You seem like someone a Model would want to come back.

Thanks for the heads up on Amazon, the process of being scammed, and that particular model. I never have done any of those things but it is helpful to hear how things can not work out right. Sorry it happened.

That is a very valid point, and something i was aware of when i started to write this. i wanted this thread to be "headsup/watch-out" nothing more.

I dont want to provide screenshots as they would involve details about the show which are obviously private.

A person can get pissed off and make up stories that make mountains out of molehills, just for spite. It happens. Not saying it's the case here, but in situations where there is no proof, people just need to consider there may be 2 sides to the story or exaggerations.

I've lost count how many times I've seen regulars in rooms who have been there for years get too possessive. Then start swearing up a storm, telling off the model, threatening to out her... Then when she bans him he goes out for revenge any way he possibly can, including a smear campaign on forums. That's why it's generally nicer to have actual proof, so you know it's not just someone out for revenge after being called out on being a whackadoodle.

I mean really, how many girls are straight up ready to pee, fuck their arse's with a hairbrush, then suck said hairbrush and all sorts of other kinky stuff that usually takes a bit of pre thought and set up, for a $10-$20 amazon gift voucher?
I mean I get that her room was dead and all, but a show like that should never be that cheap on principle. In my opinion if it's that cheap either she's scamming or you're taking advantage.

They have a "password show" option which is essentially skype. You pay the model upfront with tokens whatever you agree on and then she PMs you a password. She then activates the password, everyone gets kicked out of the room and prompts everyone in her room for the password. Only the person who has the password can watch. There are no tokens running out, and if she has a good connection the quality can be higher than skype. You can also cam 2 cam if you wish.

I doubt many models would do a password show with you like the one you asked for in exchange for 200 or even 400 tokens though, but you could always try!

Fair enough, 200 tokens that she asked for would have been $10 in her pocket though. Good that you gave her more than she asked for, but yeah, I'd take her offering it so low as a warning! As in that message she said all that stuff would cost 200tkns, just doesn't seem very realistic.

It's why I like privates, you know what you're getting, no one gets scammed. I don't feel it's pressure watching tokens go down, I actually find Skype way more pressure. I think a lot of girls feel the same way. Though I think some of the things you asked for might not be allowed in private. And I do get that Skype has much better quality. Out of all the things mfc likes to change and update, they still have just as many problems with lagging etc than 5 years ago when I started. Quality might be a little better, maybe, but not much.
