What's best; Roses on your piano, or tulips on your organ?

Lol, play on words, but if English isn't your first language, you cannot be expected to see that right away. It's a raunchy play on words. Tulips on your organ/ Two lips on your organ.

Why should tulips never be cut?

2 reasons : they die really too fast when cut. When the flower is dead, the leaves continue to feed the onion and you'll have flowers next year.
(if you have tulips in your garden, let them in the garden)

Thanks tulips are one of my least favorite, I never cut those anyways. The onion, as in the bulb of the whole plant. Interesting to know. I like bringing the whole plant in the house. Better for the air.

Tulip and death ? strange, I always assimilated tulips with love, having different nuances with color (sincerity, concern, admiration, and so on...) Though, black tulips can mean lost love of dead love.

Else yes, bulbs can grow in pots, and it works well inside.
The only thing to do after the flower is dead is exactly : *nothing*. Let leaves becoming completely yellow, they feed the bulb during this time.
You can cut them after (if you don't want to keep ugly things in pots) and let the pots outside or in a dry cellar during winter.

Can do the same with a potato as well. They grow roots pretty quickly, and I think both of them come back every year

I think you mean this part with a rest of roots, if you let enough of the bulb itself, yes it can survive and grow but the flower is not nice haha...
You should be able to obtain seeds (if you have more than one ofc and let bees come there ^^)

Also some flowers with bulbs are like garlic and can be divided, then replanted to have more.
You can do this with Lily in example, I'm not sure for tulips :/ It's another option for reproduction than seed (I'm almost jealous)

Sorry, I don't get this (my english maybe..) An onion is a plant having a bulb. You pick it from the ground and we should actually say that we eat 'onion's bulbs'
But yes, when speaking familiarly, we confuse onion and it's bulb so we also use 'onion' for bulbs, speaking badly of other plants (it's a error even in french)
You can though keep few bulbs in ground to make seeds year after year (if your original seed are not hybrid :/)

Thanks so much for sharing, good to know. Lilies and orchids are both my favorites. This little piece of knowledge will come in very handy.

ETA; I wanted to create a non-serious goofy, bantering thread, where everyone could be light-hearted. But it's actually turned into a really educational (at least for me) thread about gardening, and perhaps language somewhat also. This forum is so cool

Yep. If you leave potato plants alone, they live "forever".
Better to dig them up, cut them into wedges, drench them in olive oil, pepper and smoked paprika and bake them

Speaking of that, what's your preference on eating (for real) on cam? There was a model who took her lunch/snack break on cam just talking to members. It was strangely relaxing. Maybe I'm into ASMR without really knowing it.

When I first started camming, I read a blog about "how to be a great cam model". It strongly stated that a cam model 'should" never eat on cam. So I don't, unless asked to, in private chats. I have never bought a cam show, I just randomly tip cammers, when I have extra $$ (for absolutely nothing, I don't hang in free chat, or want a single thing). I actually get a rush from spending money, and the idea that I might have just made another person happy. Like such a rush, that I could easily become a total Findom victim, which is embarrassing to admit, but strangely kind of a rush too lol.
