Post your favorite photography blogs! I have a number that I follow regularly but I could use something new. It doesn't take but maybe a couple hours a week to catch up on anything new with the sites I follow. Usually by the time I finish my coffee I'm up to date on most of them. So point me in the direction of some beautiful art, interesting reads on photography, or articles on camera gear.
Here are some links for of a lot of the sites I visit in case you're looking for something new yourself:
FStoppers: Multiple updates a day and some pretty decent articles but it doesn't take but a few minutes to whittle through the interesting stuff.
Planet5D: Also multiple updates a day. Lots of decent camera reviews and such but also a lot of regurgitated info from multiple sources.
Philip Bloom: British filmmaker who puts together some pretty good information on cameras. Enjoyable videos.
NoFilmSchool: Updates frequently but doesn't take long to sift through.
FilmmakerIQ: Doesn't updated very often and the site gets pretty jumpy.
Most everything else I read is analog photography based which tend to update less frequently than most others...
FilmShootersCollective: Lots of great reads on film photography. Not updated super frequently but they're consistent.
CasualPhotophile: Also some good reads on film photography. Updates about once a week as far as I can tell and pretty consistent.
Photo-Analogue: Some months a post or two. Some months nada.
I Still Shoot Film: Pretty consistent updates and some lovely collections of photography and articles.
Shooting Film: Also pretty consistent and good reads.
Cool Girls Shoot Film: A Tumblr Blog that a year ago insisted it was not dead but taking a temporary hiatus... and has updated once since. But there are a lot of submissions and some really beautiful imagery to pour through.
Emulsive: Fairly consistent with some pretty good articles and interviews.
52 Cameras: Dude decided to shoot a roll of film in a different camera every week for a year... He's now on his 359th week. Nothing ground breaking here but I like to check in now and then to see what kind of old camera he's got his hands on now.
What A Roll Magazine: Not super consistent as of lately but an enjoyable read with plenty of beautiful photography to pour through.
TheFix: A newish analog photography magazine with a new issue about every two or three months. Well worth the free subscription.
American Suburb X: This one is pretty new to me but seems to have a lot of great reads on all types of art mediums from painting to photography and video to essays and interviews.
Analog Vibes: Also a newer addition to my list. Lots of great articles and interviews. Really great stuff so far.
