Hello:D first of all English is not my Main Language so hope you'll understand what I mean:shame:
I want to start camming at chaturbate in a week and I think im somewhat prepared and been watching alot of cam Models. The problem is that I havent found any like "complete" newbies so I have no clue how much I should charge for tips for a flash or a little spank (im not afraid of being nude but I want to start slow and not do a dildo show so fast) just start with some goal tipping and then eventually get more nude for each day, is that a good strategy? Ive read in different forums that you should charge realistic tips, but it kind of hard to tell when most Models ive viewed already has alot of followers:p I know i can't expect alot in the beginning and just try to have as much fun as possible but I dont want to do everything for free either:hungover: im gonna set up a tip menu, but I dont quite understand how it works. Like for example when you set up a show with flash for 20tk - bra off for 10 min 30 tk and the Main goal is to get naked, but they tip randomly for other things on your tip list on your profile, like how do know what to do? :playful: sorry for such long writing! I appriciate all the help I can get:cat:

Hi. You're very pretty! I'm just going to say that 20 or 30 tokens for 'bra off for 10 minutes' is waaay too cheap. That is only $1 or $1.50 in your pocket. If you're going to do bra off for 20 tokens, make it a quick boobs flash. 10 minutes of bra off could be maybe 200 tokens.

I am brand new and do 53 for boob flash. Just because you’re new does not mean your body is worth any less than more experienced models. You don’t want to give people the idea that they can gets things for almost free from you, because you’ll attract some cheaper clients. I charge similar to what other (experienced) models I’ve seen charge and I’ve had luck in my first week.

Know your worth baby! You are giving these customers your virtual friendship, connection, and sexuality here. So even if you're new, charge what you feel you should be earning. I would highly recommend interactive toys, but as you're just getting started your going to need to spice things up one way or another. I am obviously working on the gay male side of chaturbate, so I don't know much about boobie tips lol! But it will surely help if you stay naked most of the time and have them tip for more "interactive things". That is what has worked for me, I don't find there is much money to be made if you're only going to offer flashes. The female side of CB could be different tho :)

Someone awesome on here once said "porn is a luxury, not a yard sale." Don't charge any less than you are comfortable with. Selling your services cheap may get more buyers, but if you aren't completely comfortable with the price you may regret it later.

Thats a great qoute! Def made me think more about my selfworth now:) thanks for the advice! :D

Hey, thanks so much for the advice:happy: you are very right! I would hate to feel bad about myself after a show, cause I gave some guy/guys so much of me without getting anything for all the work I put into it, cause I wanted to be "Nice". Have to be Nice to myself first of all! :)I want to offer more when I get more in the zone of camming, and I love to be naked so thats no problem for me :p

As a newbie.. one thing I wish I had realized.. was that I could actually create a higher value for things by reserving them!

Your first time getting topless on cam can be a big, huge *lucrative* deal if you hype it up!! It does depend on where you are camming but if on mfc you could put up a higher mfcshare goal - 10k say.. before even getting topless.

"Firsts" have value inherent. Consider charging more for them, not less

It is much, much easier to lower prices then it is to raise them. If you do want to start lower then use language like "special pricing" so that the implication is that it's not pendantpe and is a discounted rate, not the standard price they can expect. This creates a bit of time pressure to buy now, in case it's gone up tomorrow... And gives you wiggle room if tomorrow you decide to raise your prices.

When you begin camming it will take experimentation to find a good pricing strategy for yourself. Don't feel like you have to have it all figured out right away

Thanks so much for the advice!:D that sounds really smart! I would like to gradually hype things up day by day, and by value Inherent you mean to have like big goals? Just like overall or just that one day? Sorry, I just have a hard time understanding this, since Im not used to think so much business:nailbiting: Im going to start on chaturbate since i've heard that it's a beginner friendly site, but I see that people there have like multiple goals etc. Think I just have to look more there to really get it in my head:wacky:

And no matter how cheap or expensive you make your prices, there are always going to be people who are going to complain anyways. Don't let those people get to you. If you price a flash at 50 tokens, it's 50 tokens and not a token less and if they don't like that, then screw them lol.

I'm sorry I missed where you said Chaturbate in the first post! My experience is mostly on MFC so a CB veteran might be better able to give you specifics.

Value inherent means they have intrinsic worth. Basically - because they are a "first" that makes them valuable. Think of like... Cars. Brand new cars sell for more $$$ not because of anything except the status and idea that they are brand new.

Regarding how to do a big goal on Chaturbate.. I'm not 100 percent sure what to advise and I don't want to act like I do. I'm not sure if bigger multiday goals work like they do on mfc.. or if you'd need to do it all in one day. I do just basically want to make sure that instead of doing flashes off the bat you consider doing a countdown for your first topless show etc.

I do a lot of girl/girl shows. When I first cam with a new girl we often do a 1000 to countdown for our first kiss. Then we add kisses to the tip menu at a cheaper rate.

I know that to get people in the room on cb - it is visual and people click a sexy preview images so I would suggest making sure you look sexy/good light etc. Since on cb the number of ppl in ur room affects your placement.

Of course!
This past week (my first week) I broadcasted every night at the same time. I honestly haven’t switched my goals up at all really. I started using roll the dice along with my multi goals the past 2 nights. Tonight I’m switching it up and instead of “x off at x tokens.” I’m doing roll the dice and saying “x off at x rolls.” That way people are more likely to tip the larger tip to roll the dice rather than smaller amounts.

I start fully clothed. I don’t show off anything extra to bring people in. I’ve actually realized that my shows that I start off fully clothed I make more than the ones I start in lingerie.

I am a Chaturbate model and my philosophy is to feel the room out. You need to be flexible because you do not know right now what your experience will be like and depending on how members warm up to you, you should act differently. Here are my tips for your first broadcast:

1) Get on cam on a day you have nothing else to do and can stay on cam for AT LEAST 6 hours in one stretch. Why? Here are just a handful of reasons:

– Because Chaturbate's placement algorithm favors camgirls who are on cam for a long time by giving them a higher placement on the site.
– Because you want to give yourself some time to figure out the site and find your vibe before you do anything sexual and this could take you an hour or two
– Because you need to "build up" your room before you actually put up a goal and the first 2 hours are basically wasted in this build-up process.

2) Once you have been on cam for at least an hour and you have found your groove, and have color members (people with tokens) watching and asking to see you naked, you can put up a goal if you want, but not before then.

3) Evaluate the room before setting up your goal and price accordingly.

Here are a few scenarios and how I would price my stuff:

Scenario A: you get on cam and you become a SENSATION! you climb all the way to the top rows in the first 2 hours of your show, over 1000 viewers, everyone is chatting and asking you to do stuff, tons of small "just because" tips. This happens a couple of times a week on CB with new girls, so it is not entirely outside the realm of possibilities! if you find yourself being this girl, GO HIGH on your goals! Consider stretching your stuff as much as possible too, show them only 1 thing that first day so they want to go watch you again the next. I would maybe price my first flash at 900 tokens which is $45 for you.

Scenario B: you get on cam and you develop a chatty medium sized room of people talking and although there aren't many "just because" tips, you do have people interested in seeing you naked. You have around 300 viewers, are featured on the first page, and you are having a good time. MAKE YOUR GOALS ATTAINABLE: I would price topless at 500 tokens which is $25 for you.

Scenario C: you get on cam and your room is quite small, very few color members and little chat. You can never make it to page 2 and people don't tip. In this case you will need to put out your menu with different small items to tip for, because you dont want to miss those small tips that will trickle in from passersby. In my experience members do not invest in small rooms with long term goals because they feel like they will be the only ones tipping for it. It is better to let them tip small for items or instant rewards such as flashes or spanks.

Good luck!

Thats very clever! And sounds like fun:D ive wondered about how those games worked, but it's cool that you can do multiple at the same time! Just have to sit down when I join and play with how it works! Will def be fully clothed, make a plan and have good lights! Im abit of a perfectionist, but Im prepared to make mistakes, just not all if them if you know what I mean:wacky:Thanks so much for sharing your advice! You've really helped me alot:woot:

First of all: Wow, thank you so much for taking your time, writing such a detailed answer!! :jawdrop::woot:This sounds like a really good strategy! I will have almost nothing else to do for a month, so camming will be my priority:happy: So on my camtextheader (lol dont know what its called:wacky:) I could write something like "wanna get hot with me on my first day of camming"? without the tip menu ( since You can edit it afterwards?) Im gonna join this weekend so I'll have the time to lurke around there before I get vertified. But its a good idea anyways to just create a simple tipmenu on my profile? This was truly helpful, thanks so much again!!
