How do you explain your income?

To answer your question, everybody close to me has known me as a geek, so I've told them I fix computers and teach newbies how to "internets" (lol) and that I'm also a graphic artist. No ones has questioned me before as at one point or another I've helped someone in the family or a friend to build a computer, fix it etc.
I did tell my mother that I'm a camgirl, about 10 years after I started camming, to this day I don't think she believed me (she did bursted into laughs when I told her, I felt kinda awkward
).

I've been doing this for 10 years and moved out at 18. I just don't need to explain my income to anyone. When I have it coming in great it gets things done pays bills, takes care of the cats, and buys me something nice when I feel like it.
Over the years I stopped worrying about what my family thinks of how I make a living and just make a living. If they want to make a fuss over it I tell them if they want me to stop what I am doing they can pay me $40k a year.

THANK YOU! Mind if I use this? I always try and think of something to say and think of a backstory to explain myself but I like this. I don't have a problem telling close friends but saying this could be useful for when I just don't want to go in to it.

Although ive only just started working as a cam model I have been doing online modelling for around 3 years now and its been my sole income, I tell people that I write content for websites, they dont really question it and if they do I just give them vague answers
