How do I tell my friend that I cam?

Hello people!

I have been camming for a few years now, and maybe 1-2 people know that I do that, others just think I work for a marketing company.

I have a friend which I really like, we hang out together a lot, and we are building a romantic relationship right now.

How do I tell her that I am a male cam model? Is it even a good idea to do so early in the relationship?
I would also like to have a person on cam with me, a partner to cam with. Should I even offer that to her? Of course, depending on how she reacts lol.

How do I go about this whole thing? Have you had any similar experiences?

Hold off before asking her to cam with you. Camming is huge commitment. It is your responsibility to tell her that any content you guys create, may not be able to be removed if it is posted somewhere without your control, and to assume that all live broadcasts are being recorded. I kinda lost it on a mutual friend who was bringing young women with him onto cam and not telling them that their live show are being recorded. I knew he didn't tell them before he confessed no, because most wouldn't cam or get into online sexwork if they knew.

Ask her what her opinions are on people who create pornography or if she has any negative views. Make conversation before you spill the beans, you have to protect yourself too if you aren't out with your friends and family. Don't mention your camname or sites you work until you can fully trust her with this information. Make sure she signs also a model release form, and you get a copy of her id. Incase you decide to sell your content elsewhere.

It's a huge commitment, with a lot of social risks. Totally understandable! If you are kicking for females to cam or make content, and have been actively camming, there are a established professional models who look for other established professional male models to shoot with.

Probably not as much since there is a global pandemic atm. Good luck!

Yup! I suggested we dont show our faces and just do lower body stuff (which is what I already do), but she started reading the negative things online and she got scared. She thinks that she will get hacked right away and her identity will be revealed :S
I think its a bit of a paranoid thought, but I dont want to try and convince her.


Do you think this forum is a good place to find someone to cam with? I have yet to be verified as an actual model on this forum, I need to be more active to be eligible.

I haven't had a cam partner yet. Everyone has been too nervous to join. If you met me in real life, you'd probably be shocked that I do anything like cam modeling lol so they usually are interested in it and either think it's wild or not as sexual as they are picturing it because...well, I'm a sweet lil mom of 3.

I dont know. I've really only had one semi-relationship since camming. He didn't care. He didn't want to hear about it, but he didn't interfere with the way I paid my bills.
