Hi guys ,
I have been on MFC for about a month now , and i never have more than 20 people in my room, I'm just wondering have i blocked some settings or something , and is there a way to promote myself other than twitter ?

ive noticed some rooms with 300+ in their room who have quite a low camscore and they are not doing cumshows (does this affect it ?) etc, and I'm just wondering how to get this amount of people , sorry if i sound a bit vacant but I'm just trying to get to grips with it all :) , I'm very interactive , fun, have great topics and energy in my room , I'm not doing public cumshaws but i do strip countdowns etc .....any help is really appreciated :)
thanks so much ,
Lola

Unfortunately all those models are studio models and the studio just fills up the room with guests to make it look like they are popular. They do not really care about camscore since they will most likely just make another account for the model and milk that account until it drops down to almost 0 camscore. Obviously they are not doing cumshows since almost no one is in the room, I have seen a room with 301 guests and the model and no one else in there.

Other than that do I would suggest to do what Fay has said. I am sure there is a lot more info on the models side of the forum about this

ok i see, thanks so much for your help , i really do appreciate it , its all patience and learning , and I'm really enjoying it ! x

I don't know where you live, but if you're not located in the United States, you're getting blocked by a huge number of premiums, basics and guests. Many visitors of MFC simply do not want to see any non-American models, so they change their settings so that only American models show up on their homepage. It's shitty/unfair, but it's just the way it is.

Over the past almost 3 years, I've had an average camscore of 5000, and it's very uncommon for me to get more than 60 people in my room. Most of the time there are around 30.
On days when I have a US IP address - and therefore can't be filtered out when someone only lets American models appear on their screen - my room count is always higher, sometimes very much higher, than usual, which proves my point. :(

I totally agree with you, but my case is more exaggerated and particular. During my first month as a camgirl it was extremely difficult to fill my chatroom, despite of I have several regulars, but time ago I read in this forum about changing IP adress, so I tried it, I change my IP to a UK's one and...BAM! A lot of more traffic, the last day I had even more than 50 viewers in my room...unbelievable! But for an unknown reason, when my IP is american my traffic sucks as well...hmm strange. By the way I use the "Hotspot Shield 3.42", one click and baam, new ip!

Most members search models where their live screen shows up on the front page, and not their default picture. So things that catch peoples attentions are usually unique fun shows and nudity.
But I'd focus less on your room numbers and more on earning tokens. A full room does not equal tokens. I've had 2,000+ in my room and made about $25. I've also had 30 people in my room and made $400. So that's something to think about.
