Hey everyone!
Indigo here from the fairly awesome UK, nice to meet you all. I've been having a little nosey around since I stumbled across this forum a couple of hours ago and I'm chuffed to little bits that it's in existence....nice one Amber! It's great to finally have somewhere I can swat up on EVERYTHING webcam-ish.
So yeah....I'm beyond new, not even begun camming yet, buzzing to get going but, as with everything I do, I'm going to get myself 101% prepared before I start so I can have the best chance of success.
Don't think I have any particular questions right now, I just wanted to get the introduction bit ticked off.
Thanking you xx

Welcome!

Don't forget to get yourself verified as soon as you start caming. The model's only section has lots of resources and safety tips for new girls.
You can actually get verified as soon as you have a model account even before you broadcast. :thumbleft:

Cheers ladies! Sooooo, I just need to sign up ASAP basically?
If I joined MFC now do I have to start camming right away or will my account just stay dormant until I'm ready to get going? I want to be totally ready, also was hoping to book a little time off my current work so I can get settled in, if you know what I mean.
Do you reckon my cautious, prepared approach is the right one or would you advise to just get stuck in?
Excuse all the questions, hehehe
Xx

You can join MFC and not broadcast until you're ready. Your new model tag is very important and does not last long. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe 10 working hours is when your new tag expires. I highly recommend you create an account, get verified here, and study until you're fully prepared to go online.

The user sets what a new model is now.

Awesome. Thanks again my lovelies! :thumbleft:
That's a wicked link Megan, thanks ever so much. Would you agree with MFC not being the best place to start out?

Um, personally, I think you can definitely do well with MFC being your first site. It really depends on your Camming style. As long as you do your research first, I think you will be fine.

Welcome! Even though I feel slightly weird saying that, as I'm still new myself :shifty:

It's always good to get prepared before starting out, which goes for basically everything I guess, but even more so for something such as this... I think that once you fall behind (if you do that is, without preparation), it's quite tough to get back up 'in the spotlights' and get a decent amount of viewers. But as mentioned, it all ties in with your camming style.

I wish you well & I'm sure you'll do fine, also having had a small peek at your avatar  , but more importantly because you're preparing yourself! :thumbleft:
