ok... i've been on MFC for around 3 years now... and i've seen some of the shady shit that goes on and always tried to write it off as the nature of the beast... taking things with a grain of salt... and i've learned from my own mistakes with how easy it is to fuck up with the tip button when i was going threw a dark period in my life about a year ago... but i gotta vent about this one as it's new to me

i've been going into this girls room for about 5 months now... she's always just been cute & fun to chat with at night and we've gotten along well... mfc is her only source of income but she only works once or twice a week... which didn't seem to be a problem until the last couple weeks when she's started with these sob stories about money and how badly her life sucks because she's broke... while i'm in a pretty fortunate financially position and have always been a good tipper... my answer to her problems have always been work more on mfc

last week i realized she was laying the ground work with her sob stories to hit me up for $$$... which i don't think a girl on mfc had ever done to me before... sure enough... one night we were talking and she alluded that i should just GIVE her money... when i pinned her down on what exactly she was saying... she replied "well i dnt like asking for things exp money but it would b nice"

while i had been expecting her to do this for a couple days... the casualness and entitlement she did it with pissed me off... my answer to her was basically i'll tip for a show but don't look at me like i was an ATM machine... i mean i've experienced an entitlement attitude with other models... but nothing like this... after i told her she shouldn't expect me to just give her money... she simply logged off on me without as much as a goodbye

i'm not characterizing all models here but it's experiences like this that gives cam models a bad name in my opinion... i mean mfc can be a grey spot in social lives of some people that some models are willing to exploit... i've always tried to view mfc as just a pervy way to kill time at night... and with one exception where i was sucked into one models weird ass games... i think i've always seen it for what it is... nothing but entertainment... anyway... that's it and i wanted to vent

Well, for some girls this ploy works and it works really well. Not sure what to say other than just stop visiting her room. :/ Sorry you feel used. A lot of the "homeless" people in my area use similar stories to this and they actually make more per hour than I do. Sometimes it really blows and you just need to cuss to someone about it.

blackrose... it's not really a matter of feeling used... i tipped her during shows or to get her closer towards a show... but thats it... i might tip a lil higher than most... but nothing over the top... nothing i'm upset about or was unwilling to part with... my point was the audacity that she was willing to ask me for money... i mean she wasn't even asking for a tip... she was asking for cash... which takes balls in my opinion... i live in a large urban area and have worked threw my own issues with being a "nice guy" when it comes to homeless people... so i don't see myself as an easy mark or target... after getting to know her for the last 5 months... i was just surprised when i saw this coming at me

There used to be printed rules about models getting banned for doing that, but can't find it right now.

Wow, it's pretty low to try to use sob stories to get tokens. If she was only working 2 days a week than working more often should have been good enough to help with her financial woes. It's one thing for a member to just send tokens, but she should expect them for nothing, and you were already tipping.

Also, I'm on about 5 days a week, and I like to earn my tokens

Every time I hear about something like this, I can't help but feel embarrassed for the girl. Have some class! I would never ask a member to tip unless they were demanding that I do something, and I usually let that slide a couple times before I say anything. I want the guys to tip me because they like me and enjoy what I do, not because I am begging or they feel sorry for me. This is a camsite, not a homeless shelter.

that is what chip ins can be used for. I was absolutely stoked when a few generous members donated towards some unexpected financial concerns that came up with my dogs. But it wasn't EXPECTED!

I've heard of girls doing this when you're a big tipper. It's pretty sad! And I agree, 2 days a week on MFC unless you have some other circumstances that mean you can't work more, is pretty silly to complain about money.

I suggested reporting her to MFC because they would in all likelihood just give her a warning. Models who do this give other models a bad name/reputation.

BTW, wonder if this is the same girl Nordling was talking about?

I'm not sure if this comes under peeves but it made me feel peevish. lol During a private, with a model you've privated with before, and a couple minutes before the session would have just ended from tokens running out...the model suddenly asks you to send her money (presumably via Paypal) for some "personal emergency" that's just come up. She says she'll do anything possible to make it "worth my while." Ugh. No matter how much I may like someone online, I don't really know them, and it ruins any good feelings one may have had via spending time with someone you like during a private.

Just thought it was kind of tacky. Left me with the lame, "gosh, I'd really like to help you but..."

ya... i agree that people are people... and ya gotta take the good with the bad... and expect some to try and work an angle if they think they can get away with it... when i realized what she was doing with her sob stories... it sort of caught me by surprise because after 5 months of getting to know her i didn't expect that out of her... and i don't know if i even see her as a scammer... as much as just an immature lazy girl that didn't like to work and expected someone to bail her out of the mess she was in... but i have no doubts is i had been a chump and gone down that road with her... it would have been feeding the beast and she would have expected me to drain my bank account for her whims

This is definitely not a rule they enforce. MFC does not care if a model does these type of scams. I know from first hand experience.

I am glad this topic came up. Here's a related and more extreme story... I have an on-line acquaintance who has given a few thousand dollars to a currently working MFC model with a five digit cam score. We're talking cash in addition to record setting tips in her room. The model is a toned young woman with moderate surgical enhancement. My acquaintance is a stereotypical mid 50's man, middle aged spread, belly and male pattern baldness included. He is not wealthy, but is able to be generous because he works long hours and lives VERY modestly. Anyway, the model in question has told this guy that she loves him, even going so far as to say that if anyone in real life hits on her, she will tell them that she is taken (by him). She then, as you might guess, complains to him about how worried and depressed she is because of all her bills. He, of course, sends her money to pay them off. There's much more to this story, but I want to limit this post's size and avoid identifying anyone. I maintain that this model's actions are nothing more than a romance con. Romance cons/scams are a type of fraud and are illegal. I have suggested to this fellow that he file a report with the FBI's Internet Crimes Complaint Center (IC3), http://www.ic3.gov/complaint/default.aspx but as is common with these cases, I believe embarrassment and denial prevent him.

Anyway...just a warning gentlemen. You may think that you are da shizz cause a cam model has taken an interest in you and strikes up an "off site" relationship, but be cautious. The saying "If it looks too good to be true, it probably is" not only goes for the purchase of consumer goods and services, it goes for relationships too.

I'm really sorry that happened to you dear! It is hard not to think all models are like that, when so many are. But the models are in the same kind of position. We get so many trolls, and jerks. But there are some great members out there!!! Just like there are some great models.
