Get paid to text with fans without sharing your number

After interviewing several of our sellers we've launched a new feature on ExtraLunchMoney which allows sellers to charge people for sending them text messages.



What's so special about it?

• Use like normal phone - each person who texts you will have a unique number which you can save and text
• Phone number never shared - We route messages you receive to your phone. When you respond it's from the unique number we created for you.
• Turn on/off messaging - You can turn off text messaging so all users can’t text you, or you can block individuals from sending you texts
• Per text message base pricing - You set a default price that all users have to pay to send text messages to you
• Per text message special pricing - You can set different prices for different users. For example your base text price might be 0.5 Credits, but for your VIP’s you charge only 0.25 Credits a text
• Tip through text - Users can tip you credits through a text message by using a special code (which might be fun to use in a cam show)

Currently our system only works with US based cell phones.

Wanted to make sure the important features were included and also wanted to make sure that they could make money from it too. I saw how you are in Canada. We're planning to expand to also include international texting (but through a local number)... so stay tuned.

Thanks for the kind words and thanks for watching Unfortunately things have gotten a lot more busy for us now that we have Offbeatr.com (our adult crowdfunding site) and ELM so haven't had the time to keep doing the ELM Avenue interviews.

We have been doing written interviews on our ELM blog with our sellers. We know it's difficult separating the "real" info vs all the marketing hype and scams out there when it comes to working in adult so we figure we'd interview actual cam models (most of them our sellers) and see what their life is really like.

I just signed up for ELM, and I just want to say, after dealing with a fair amount of other sites, ELM is slick as hell. I'm an artist/graphic designer by nature, so I guess you could say I'm a bit of a snob... but ELM is easy to navigate, and doesn't look like a site straight out of a 90's netscape browser. Looks totally homey. I'm going to be testing it out a bunch, and I hope it works out because I feel super comfy here Thanks benic!

Thanks for the kind words. We tried to make it more user friendly than the other sites that are out there. It's not perfect and we still have room for improvement, but we're glad to know we're somewhat there.

Thanks, it's been slowly growing and we've have had some interesting projects.

We are open to cam models if they have interesting projects so if any are thinking of doing a larger-type project. It's worth considering.
