I kind of like this idea. Another alternative could be after a certain amount of time (5 min?), a large watermark and/or scrolling banner goes over the video. Make it opaque enough that the feed can be viewed...but not enjoyed. That would be neat if the model could control who got blanked or not, a glimpse of what they're missing sort of thing.

Sorry that I am a long time basic, but I don't cause trouble. The site is called "MyFreecams". I appreciate what you models do. I understand, having read through some of this forum, why you will call me a useless POS, but if the site wasn't free I wouldn't go there. I can afford it, I have a good income, but I choose not to pay, sorry. Maybe someday I will pay. Maybe MFC is a success because the free aspect is the loss leader and the system thrives because for every 10 visitors like me there is one that will pay, and that is a paying proposition. I can visit a casino and not gamble any money and take advantage of the cheap food and entertainment. Guess that makes me a cheap POS. But it wouldn't be good business for the Casino employees to be unwelcoming to me because I didn't lose alot of money there (unless I misbehaved, then I would be kicked out fast). I am part of the minority that takes advantage of free stuff. I totally agree that basics should shut up, but they are usually blocked anyways. I am so cheap that I can shoot my cum just watching Amber wave her ass around, have done that a few times, I didn't need to see her break the rules. But some of the rule breakers get my attention - I won't deny it, sorry. Its sort of what makes MFC the best, and I am glad you make some good $ from it. By the way, I am a reasonably good tipper in a restaurant, so what's up with that? I don't know.

Law of averages. Making statistics up, but I'd imagine about 95% of basics and guests never register/go premium at all - and yes, essentially it is "free" if you show anything in public chat - for some at least - there's no way around it.

You can prevent such "freeloaders" by only showing in grp/pvt, but I don't know how difficult this is for a model. There are girls with camscores of 5000+ who've never show anything anywhere - Lorellay4u is an excellent example here. There seems to be a whole studio in Romania where the rule is "only show in grp/pvt", and some do very well too.

It's hard to make a living like that. They are lucky. Too bad we all can't have it like that. I might try someday though.

I myself was a basic for 7 months do to not having the money do to the fact of loosing my job and not being able to find a new one, but thanks to baf I recently became a Premium and now I collect tokens so I can tip. the reason I have internet is because someone else pays for the service.

That's pretty silly for them to be calling premiums 'suckers', because without the premiums, the guests and basics wouldn't get to freeload on public cum shows. If anything, they should be THANKING those of you who actually do tip. LOL.

And what I don't understand is how a basic was able to pm me the other day. I have pm's set to friends list only, and I don't remember ever adding him to my friends list. He's been a basic and frequent visitor to my room for a long time.

Yup. The 20 points premium who bought 200 tokens ONCE, claiming that he can't tip because he's "buying a house"...yet he offers to 1) pay my Sprint bill for me, 2) take me out to lunch, and 3) have fruit shipped to my house. :lol:
