Even though it might not be an extinction event this would be pretty crazy if it happens and depending on if it hit over land or ocean the results would be pretty devastating.

While I am not obsessed with apocalypse or extinction events I do believe that it will be necessary to "re-boot" in the not so distant future to ensure our survival as a species in one way or another.
