A model I know has just disappeared overnight (not the model in my other threads before anyone asks). She was online last night and now she has disappeared from my favourites and Streamate in general. I'm guessing she's not blocked me because (apart from their being no clear reason to do so), I can no longer see her when I am logged out. I also can't see her when I change my VPN to other countries, so I'm assuming I'm not geo-blocked.

Are my assumptions above correct? Is it likely her account is deactivated?

None of your business. If she's gone, she's gone. Could be quitting the industry or leaving her studio. If you were blocked and went to hercamname.cammodels.com while logged on, you'd get an alert.

Also dont use a VPN on streamate with a member account. You may get banned.

The only reason I asked is that she was camming online happily last night and this morning she vanished. I was hoping she was ok. This is a model I've spoken to a fair bit. As for the VPN, it's not for nefarious purposes, just to circumvent adult content filters from my ISP.

Still none of your business.

Even though its not for nefarious use, adult transactions are high risk and usually people using vpns are up to nefarious reasons. My oldest and most loyal reg from dubai got his account banned after almost a decade of using a vpn.

Which site was this? I've been using CB for around 10 years and always use a VPN because it's necessary to avoid the adult content filters for the building in which I live. The internet connection is included in my rent and administered by my elderly landlady, and it's even stated in my rental contract that downloading/viewing porn is forbidden. So not using a VPN is simply not possible unless I move apartments. I honestly couldn't care less if some people are misusing them, that's none of my business.

My experience is that most people are just using VPNs to access geoblocked content on Netflix, etc. I'm from England but live in another country, and use the VPN to watch stuff on the BBC's iPlayer. If you had said "most people up to neferious deeds use VPNs" then I'd probably agree.

OP says Streamate. Every site runs its shit differently.

More people using VPNs started being more common in the past few years, and netflix is always blocking VPNs from accessing after a while. I'm just relaying the information I know from experience as a ten-year model on the site Streamate. I know some people had to get their members' accounts verified with their ID after being blocked because of their VPN.

...and i did say that, usually is similar as mostly.

It's none of my business what happened or how it happened, I agree. However, she cams on multiple platforms. If I can throw something her way on the other platform to make up for the shortfall on missing SM income then surely that's helpful and the right thing to do, no?

You are making assumptions something bad happened. You should just tip her because you want to on her other platforms and don't mention streamate. It's usually against tos to mention/talk about competitors. If she decides to tell you on her own what happened, cool but don't press, because it's none of your business.

You're right, but because the same studio controls all of those platforms, I'm reluctant to do so until I see any evidence of her reappearing on those platforms in case it's studio issue. I'll wait and see I guess. Thanks.

Maybe she quit camming or the quit studio. If you have some kind of relationship she'll tell you where/how to find her. Otherwise... 🤷‍♂️

Probably just cutting all the sites that are low tips/payouts. No point streaming on a site that's not making any useful income.

Models vanish all the time and you can drive yourself crazy trying to imagine what happened.

But I will admit that it is rare for models to delete their accounts. There are so many ghost accounts out there. Most of my CB followers haven't broadcast in 6 months to a year. Or have created new accounts and the old ones are still sitting there. ❤️

I suspect it's probably a technical issue or a ban. Otherwise surely the solution is just not to log in to your SM account. I see dozens of derelict accounts all the time.

How would we even be able to know that? If an account is deleted, you'd never know it was there. Account removal is not all that rare, kind of odd to me that members seem to think it is.

Purely anecdotal. From my experience most accounts are abandoned not deleted. Over the past two years I can count on one hand the accounts I have followed that have disappeared unless the subject of a ban.

Sorry to not be more scientific.

this is on streamate. model accounts cannot be abandoned. if they are left inactive for six months, then they are usually deactivated.
