I wish the world was a safer place for sex workers, and women in general. Getting into any kind of sexual performance work, or often just being a woman-on-the-internet, can be dangerous, scary, and draining. At the very least, rudeness is expected, and not discouraged as much as it is in other places.
I think it would be great to live in a work where sex work was seen as just that: work. Better controls on age-of-consent viewing access, and it should be no problem for someone to openly acknowledge that they work as a dancer, camgirl, full-service..whatever. See your favorite camgirl at your kid's school? No biggie. People who print sex worker photos in the newspaper or write public tell-alls? Shame on them, instead.
I look at a lot of the camgirl stories about secret-keeping and safety, and they're similar to any coming-out/closet story. Shame on the world for that.
But thank you to everyone that makes spaces to offer support and encouragement, or even as a customer simply offering enthusiastic and respectful enjoyment. It's a good and necessary thing.
