Thank gawd I have to work today. I don't want to look at MFC after the shit that's gone on over the last 36 hours there.

Am I the only one who can't see an image in this post? It's either just me, or any image linked from MFC doesn't show up on the forum.Bocefish said:I do now
I couldn't initially, but opening the image alone in another tab, then refreshing this page revealed it. One of those funny internet things.AmberCutie said:Am I the only one who can't see an image in this post? Except for when he's in the Senate he's one of the few people trying to keep the Republicans following their own rules. He also didn't have any government money spent on an investigation until the ethics committee started one. It's not like he hired prostitutes in DC, or had gay sex meetings in airport bathrooms, got BJs in the oval office or even had sex or did anything illegal. Usually you resign to avoid the ethics committee investigation that might show illegal activities (such as fondling young male staffers) or embarrassment.Bocefish said:Weiner-gate dude is flippin moron! Typical politician... deny, deny, deny, then when irrefutable proof appears, apologize. What's even sadder is that people will still vote for him.
Bocefish said:I don't give a rip about Weiner's sexting. What really bothered me is the fact that he denied, denied, denied everything and even tried to blame it on somebody else. That speaks volumes about his character. Another power hungry SOB that will say anything and then do whatever the fuck he wants... not exactly somebody I would want representing me. YMMV

I'm sure politicians have publisher type people just like Hollywood folk.
They get told to deny deny deny till there is proof. Anything to keep them in their job.
I highly doubt all the Hollywood folk really apologize for much of anything, especially for candid nakies stolen.
EXACTLY! :thumbleft:AngelAndrea said:It's just stupid how far people will go to not accept their actions.
Mikeythegeek said:I agree with Boce. It's one thing to do something like that. It's totally different to lie about it. If he had been honest about it from the beginning, this wouldn't be a story. But every time a famous person does something totally stupid and tries to cover it up, the story becomes so much bigger than it should be. It happens every time, yet famous people try to cover it up every single time. It's just plain stupid.
