Customs on C4S?

how do you personally approach customs from people through c4s? I've done many customs through mv, but I've just been approached about a custom through c4s (well, through email but they found me on c4s?) for the first time, I'm just curious what the etiquette is-- normally i'd treat the order as an external one since it's through email, and process payment on my own and send an mv link. is there an equivalent of that on c4s?

i welcome any tips/ comments

It is ABSOLUTELY an external order. Currently there is no safe way to accept custom videos directly through Clips4Sale as they have no payment options for it that can't also be cancelled and disputed due to shitty customers.

My recommendation is set up a custom videos order form landing page of sorts. I keep mine easy to find at BlackxRose92.com/custom-videos/ with all of my relevant information on payment/times/etc, and I accept payment through my personal store at Store.BlackxRose92.com so as to circumvent the risk of a video I worked hard on having all of the funding pulled because an asshole decided they wanted free porn and disputed their tribute. Never ever accept tributes or donations as payment for custom videos on Clips4Sale. The risk is NOT worth it.

I'll sometimes accept amazon gift cards as payment, but only if I spend it completely in full before any filming takes place.

Edit: I also ALWAYS mention which custom videos are customs in the descriptions to bump those resells and piggy back orders!!!! Don't do yourself a disservice by not labelling which of your videos were filmed as customs. I keep it simple with a (Custom Video: "description script here" ) for all of mine.

where do you upload the video to be transferred to the customer, if you don't mind saying? directly via email or something else, like dropbox?

i've always thought that if people see that a video is a custom they'd be less likely to buy it-- so that's really interesting and good to hear that you've experienced the opposite! why is that, do you think? or do you basically see it as free advertising that you do customs in general?

My customs ALWAYS resell. It may be that someone else is into something similar, or maybe they're considering ordering their own and want a preview of what to expect.

I add a little note offset at the bottom of the description,

Something like that, depending on which site it's going on and what is allowed to be included.

People are more likely to buy my custom videos because they are custom videos. Excepting in cases of name use, custom videos almost always resell far better than original scripts. Also, free advertising that I do custom videos. Nets me more repeat customers and piggy back new customers.

The customs I've done have been for pretty common fetishes that I do already, so it's hard to say.

If you have another clipsite, like Manyvids or Iwantclips.com, you can refer them there. There are also a couple of adult-friendly payment processors, IndieBill and UnblurMedia. All of the popular friends & family type payment processors/apps prohibit adult transactions, so it's not ideal to use them.

I use Maxx Models for my official store, but my alternative payment option is amazon gift cards and spending them IMMEDIATELY, like as soon as the payment arrives, BEFORE I film. I also accept payment through my various websites like @SaffronBurke suggested.
