The performers said they even talked with support who came into the room and had to tone some things down but apparently were okay after that. It made no sense to me. This was hardcore and in public to boot. Personally I have no issues with it as long as every one is willing, but rules are rules. And if you're gonna ban for ridiculous things that aren't even in your TOS then you better ban for ones that are!

I also need to check later today and find exactly where they state the 7 days after pay period ends and make sure it doesn't say business days now all of a sudden. Cause the 15th was a Friday. The weekend wouldn't count, then a Holiday, which means no checks or pay outs sent till the 27th at the latest.

As for the 15th being a Friday... Fuck.... MFC pays within TWO days of the pay period's end and they offer a free direct deposit. Wtf is up with that $45 dollar fee? If you're going to offer a shitty paycheck system that consistently mails checks late and blame the fact that 90 percent of the checks are late because of the postal service then... Seriously. Our employer sure as hell doesn't wait six weeks to get paid, nor do they wonder if they'll be paid the full amount. I'm tempted to e-mail support to ask if my ban will affect my earnings but I don't see the point in it... They've had two weeks to my email asking what happened and what I could do differently to avoid being banned in the future and I still have not gotten anything.

They should really issue an apology for the bans to models and members. It doesn't take long to write an e-mail and mass send it. But they haven't, as far as I've heard, apologized to anyone they've screwed over. Wtf? If you're not going to fix a problem or even admit that it exists, at least have the decency to apologize.

I know what you mean. I havent been banned but they seem to do it for just no reason to some girls.
If it help I just got the email saying they loaded my payoneer card. No email stating all payments are sent though so I assume theyre still doing checks and they aren't out yet.

I cash out once per month with a wire transfer and my time to cash out is coming up at the end of this pay period. BlazeFyre said wire transfers were currently unavailable. I'm concerned that my money isn't safe and have e-mailed Shirley to get some reassurance. I have been camming with CB for about a year now and at first I used USPS for a while until my mail was lost. Then I switched to FedEx for a few weeks and then another check was lost. Then I went to wire transfers and the first one came through just fine, I will be using my second one at the end of February, but I am now worried it won't work as BlazeFyre mentioned.

Please Chaturbate, let us know what is going on. I absolutely love the site and working for it, but the stress of the unreliability is getting to be too much. I HATE the idea of working on another site when this one has so many great things, but I feel a lot of models will start looking elsewhere if some clarification isn't given.

This thread is seriously bumming me out! I signed up for Chaturbate a few days ago, have been doing AMAZING and loving it, and now I read this...it's kinda putting me on edge :\ hopefully shirley gets back to everyone soon. when i was first signing up I had a really hard time making an account. I abandoned the idea for a few months and then came back and it worked...hopefully this issue gets worked out soon.
 
I talked to a couple models that use Payoneer and they said they got paid yesterday. I didn't request a payout this last time, so I can't speak for everyone else. However, I do know that I haven't received the typical mass e-mail saying that all payouts have been dispursed, but I would assume that they have. Again, I don't know for sure.

It's just getting longer and longer between end of period and actual payout. That's the main issue along with slow response times.
 
I should also say that Chaturbate has been the greatest website I've ever used outside of those two issues, key as they might be. Once those issues are resolved, there's no reason to go to any other site in my opinion. Our tippers are the best and we have the best models and you can't argue with a 50% cut!!!
 
2 Friends on Chaturbate approved last week , now their account is banned with comment about invalid i.ds
They used their Valid drivers licenses..it looks like 4000 tokens lost now

I don't understand why Chaturbate is the ONLY site that wont let you broadcast/sell things when your ID expires. I'm still the girl pictured, I'm still 20 years old.

I can still broadcast on MFC, I can sell things on ELM & MGF, AND I even got approved on another site with my expired ID. I even have the yellow slip stating I went and renewed it. Of course my apartment is on platform 9 3/4 so NO ONE can find it, and it's been over a month and I haven't got my new ID.

Chaturbate has been the only site I can make a living off of, and I just wish they'd get their shit together and not disappear once their "Improvements" weren't the only things mentioned in this thread.
 
I'm getting really frustrated with Chaturbate. I logged on an hour ago and was able to chat for about 15 minutes. Just now I was wondering why no one was freakin talking or tipping, so I logged out and went back in only to see the "We're updating the site and should be back to normal soon!" message.

It's been the attack of the penguins this week. What the hell is up with these updates? Nothing seems to change and because broadcasters (or at least not me) are not getting notices when it happens, we have no way of knowing that our camming efforts are all pointless. WTFF?

Edit: I tried with a different browser and I can broadcast... but suddenly I'm at 2 FPS. Again, what the fuck? I have an amazing connection and ten minutes ago it was registering at 25 FPS. So it's obviously not on my end. Anyone else getting royally fucked over right now?

Edit again: Fukit. Myfreecams please please pleease be nice to me tonight... I need to get in some work! Fingers crossed.
 
Chaturbate just missed out on some money. I just signed up for a free account, and then when I tried to upgrade it kept declining my card. It's not a prepaid card and there's more than enough money on it. I called Customer Service, was on hold for several minutes, and when someone finally answered there was a "You have 1 minute remaining of this call" message. WTF? :shock: The woman on the phone wasn't very friendly, and she said I'll just have to use a different credit card. Sorry, lady, but if I can't use my Payoneer card (which is MasterCard), then you're not getting my money. And that also sucks for the model I was trying to tip.....

Payoneer card is a prepaid card, but that's still silly that you can't use it there.

Yeah, because I've used it many times on MyFreeCams and on Streamate.

When they asked me over the phone "Is it a prepaid card?," I assumed they were thinking it's one of those one-time use VISA cards that you get from CVS/the grocery store, etc.

So guys, I know Desert Rose was looking for an answer to this RE: the privacy breach that occurred in my room. Figured I'd post it here to keep things relevant.

Shirley got back to me RIGHT AWAY. Unfortunately since there was such a lag between me having the issue and actually emailing support, they couldn't get the guy's screen name. However, they said if I ever see him again to let them know and they'll kick him from the site immediately.

She also said she's on page 15 of this thread and is taking notes. She plans to respond to everyone's concerns right away, as she's been super busy lately.

Just thought I'd keep you guys updated, and thanks for the concern Desertrose! :) xx

Yes it is taking super long for payouts. MFC and Stream can pay the day after the pay period. CB has taken it to the absolute last day several times.
 
Has anyone received their cheques for the Feb1st-Feb15th period yet? I haven't even gotten an e-mail saying they were sent. I live in NYC; but it seems weird it's taking them so friggin long.

On an unrelated note, I thought I'd summarize points I'd like to discuss with Shirley.

1. What's up with this banning spree? It's hard to work on a site where there isn't a sense of job security. Models should receive a warning prior to being banned unless they commit a truly atrocious act like minors on cam. If they are banned, they should receive a notification and a reason why. When I was banned, I could still broadcast but was struggling to understand why I had zero viewers. I e-mailed support asking if I had been banned and if so, why. That was weeks ago and I still have no reply from them. I can't even begin to describe the level of stress it causes wondering if I'll be able to get through another week without being banned.

2. Do not ban models for violations that are not listed in your Terms and Conditions.The most relevant example is one I believe was mentioned many pages ago in this thread. A model was banned for having a website which may potentially take revenue away from Chaturbate. There is no where anywhere on the site that even suggests this. There's no reason to ban a model for violating a rule that doesn't exist. But if you're going to violate the trust between employer and employee, at least have the decency to say why and issue a warning prior to banning them. Also, how difficult would it be for the site to write a new Terms and Conditions which clearly states what a model may be banned for? This kind of ambiguity in a multi-million dollar company is inexcusable.

3. Make it so that members may be banned even when they have left the room. If a member takes me private and leaves after 30 sec (which I clearly say will lead to a ban before accepting the private) I want to be able to ban him even if he hasn't said anything.

4. Invest in a more efficient payout system. Myfreecams offers free direct deposit within two days of the pay period's closing. This easy and cheap method is what attracted me to myfreecams. Between all of the other issues I've had with Chaturbate and the fact that I've waited three weeks and haven't even received my first paycheck, I'm finding myself at my wits end with this site. But it has a lot of qualities that I love which is why I'm trying to tough it out.

5. Invest in a bigger support team. I've heard different numbers thrown around as to how many people are on the team, but however many it is it's obviously not enough if an e-mail I sent several weeks ago still hasn't received a response. I understand that you have posted your specific e-mail on these forums and have been pretty good at replying, but it's ridiculous that a model or member who has a complaint/concern has to search out additional support. Personally, I never would have thought to look in these forums for another e-mail address. The one listed on the site should be the one we use. Again, for a multi-million dollar company, it's inexcusable to have a two or three person support team. Heck, hire me and I'll work for ten bucks an hour doing customer support.
 
well i've recently been examining chaturbate. (miss rose suggested i give it a try so i did) its got its pluses to be sure. heck the only thing i actively dislike is their following system. it just doesnt work for me after bring used to MFC friends list.

i acted as a mod last night (randomly at that, was just lurking and got marked for it.. no idea why) and i gotta say that feature is pretty damn handy for active shows it seems to me. since i'm not a perv and dont fap at the computer desk it let the model in question ( cant remember her name, like i said i was just checking out the site and how it works) do her thing while i kept the rude buggers out. meant she could focus on doing her thing and keep the tokens flowing instead of having to worry about finding the right person and banning them for idiocy.

btw, by saying im not a perv i mean that my goal isnt to obtain sexual gratification from the experience. im definitely a perv in that i enjoy seeing naked women play, just dont sit here fapping to cam sites. subtle distinction lol.

It's great that you gave it a try! You're right, the mod thing is amazing. If a few other simple problems were resolved (namely, the ones that MyDesertRose mentioned), Chaturbate would pretty much be a perfect site in my opinion.

I agree with you Rose. Banning should be handled differently completely. Warning if things need to be taken off of profile like payoneer info, etc. Models will comply. If they get banned for minors, or breaking other severe rules they still deserve to be notified of such, and why. And support should be responding to them when they follow up to say anything. Instead of being ignored. Or having to contact Shirley which bogs her down even more with helping us.

I will say it does say in their rules no pay sites are allowed basically. So i could see maybe not being able to list your MFC room, but not being able to list your own pay site i don't think is fair. Especially since we have seen how many "pornstars" come on and have their sites listed. They aren't told not to do so or banned. What's fair is fair. All of us or none.

And god yes to being able to ban someone who has left!! I know some members know that it notifies us when they come and go if they have tokens. Some use it to "spam." Literally coming in and out of the room dozens of times just to block your chat up. Allow me to click on their name on the enter or leave notification please!!

As far as payouts Rose i don't receive checks because i literally never got the first one they sent to me. I can say they sent Payoneer on the 22nd for that pay period. I never got the notification all payouts were sent that time though. First time ever for it too. But yes it's now the 6th and no payment yet for the last period now. Its taking huge time between for something simple as this. I know there's lots of models, but no where near MFC and Streamate girls and they pay out within 2 days directly.

Yes i cant tell you how many emails i have sent to support and never gotten a response from them. Simple ones too. Nothing is ever written back. Its very frustrating. And again it just bogs down Shirley as we turn to her instead. I feel bad cause i don't think every single thing we have an issue with is supposed to be her job. And i have said the exact same thing as you Rose... Hire us girls ! We know how to run twitter, we could easily work with other girls on things, we could easily do customer support for this company lol.

I will also say the major issue of lagging needs to be addressed for good. Instead of ignoring it, and putting it off on all of us. Its obviously an issue with CB, and not every girl. I agree some models do not have the best system for running on Cb, or dont have the best internet, or have 10 other things running at the same time. But no where on the site does it say the requirements needed, or any help to those who have issues. A simple page telling newer models what their computer has to have, stop running other programs, and recommended internet speeds should be put up.
Now for those of us who have super fast internet, run only CB, and have a new computer.. we are still having issues. That's not okay. When i first started last year i was able to run in the Highest setting every night. No issues of lag. It was great. Slowly that has gone down and down over time. I don't know if it's simple as their servers being overloaded with tons of people now, but it needs to be looked into. Cause it's not on my end. Now if i try to run in anything but the lowest setting i get 2-3 FPS now. How can that be? I have an HD cam, i should be able to use the thing like i used to. Instead i look like crap because of CB. I used to get such compliments on my crystal clear cam, and how great the picture was, not anymore. Shirley you popped into my room one time because i contacted you about this issue. You responded with "You look fine." But that wasn't my issue. It's that how good my cam is, the quality, and the speed i should be able to do, and used to do, is no longer there for me to do.... An entire site full of shitty looking cams would vastly be improved by fixing this, and that's more money to the site, and more happy models.
I know it used to be that if you weren't signed in to an account if a model had over a certain amount of people in her room chat wouldn't even show. Maybe go back to that. Limit exhibitionists rooms. Update servers to allow for the growth of the site. Something has to be done about it though.

I also wanna address the fact that Fan Clubs are not being updated correctly. I had someone sign up under mine, and when i changed the price later it never updated their price to be more. It stayed at the lower rate. Its been months now, and they're still paying a smaller fee that i changed. I don't understand why that is, and its not fair at all.

Lastly i would like to reiterate that we need a mail system on the site. It would be so helpful, and greatly appreciated.
 
Yes, the lagging! It drives me insane when I get that "you are already broadcasting from another location" and kicks me offline. I typically lose half my room.

I cam literally right next to my wireless router and have an excellant connection. There is no reason I should be registering at 3 or 5 FPS.

Though, I do think that after a year or so of the original price, the member should have to at that point pay the current price. Kinda like how magazine subscriptions work- you get it at the price you signed up for during the time-frame you signed up for. Then you have to renew the subscription.

Yes getting disconnected 2-3 times a night is absurd. Like come on. Again its not my internet as nothing else is getting logged off several times a night, or once even lol.

Luna it's a monthly subscription. I think its only fair that he pay what everyone else is. If he didnt like the newer price he could cancel it easily. They should get a notification prices have gone up and they have to agree to it or opt out. I could only imagine how many girls have few videos or pics and guys buy in and get the advantage of it even when the girl uploads more of them.
But yes Rose he gets the new stuff too. Its only one person. I dont mind so much as he stayed paying on a couple months i didnt even upload new stuff. Its just odd hes locked into a lower price, and it hasnt changed at all.

So the new people have to pay $15 a month, but the people who signed up in January still get it at the $10 a month until the next January, when they have to pay the new $15 a month price. But the people who pay the $10 a month are getting the exact same content as those who are paying $15 a month.

Now imagine that you're the customer. You've signed up for a website at a rate of $10 a month. The website raises their prices without warning to $15 a month. Would you be upset if you suddenly have to pay the $15 a month? I sure as hell would. Even if the content is better, I didn't agree to $15 a month. I agreed to $10 a month.

While I agree that "the customer is always right" isn't a workable model, what the intent behind the original saying was is, "look at things from the customer's point of view. Is it fair to the customers?" Successful businesses find the common ground between what is fair to the customer, and what is fair to the seller.

So, the question becomes: what were the terms of the subscription? Is it something he has to agree to every month? If so, then it should change as soon as you change it. Is it something he signed up for that applies for a year? If so, then he should get the price he agreed to for the whole year.

If it's something that's on automatic that he signed up for indefinitely, then what does need to happen is when a price change is put in place, is that he should be given a couple more months at the old price with a warning that it will change to the new price at whatever time and the option to keep going at the new price or cancel subscription.

what I'm saying is that if the model adds new content, the member should not have access to it unless he agrees to a higher price. A magazine subscription isn't really the same thing.

If I add 4 different hour long vids to my profile, you can bet I don't want to give access to the guy who bought a subscription when all I had was a few pic sets.
 
You said he's been around awhile. If you've charged him $10 a month every month, it's been $60 for him so far. The whole point of a monthly subscription is to get access to the new stuff.

And yes, a website subscription is EXACTLY like a magazine subscription. Both are monthly payments. Both give new content every so often (website might be more random about it, while magazines definitely have a schedule, but both provide new content). Both are luxuries. Both have entertainment value. Some websites are informative, some magazines are informative. Some websites focus on certain non-adult things, some magazines focus on non-adult things. Some magazines focus on adult entertainment. Some websites focus on adult entertainment.

Magazines and websites serve the same purpose, and have the same sorts of things, even if it's in a different medium. It's like arguing that selling dvd's isn't the same as selling books. Both are a one-shot buy which provides a certain service, just one is writing and one is video.
