Hey guys,
I have a question that's a curiosity, more than anything. I've only been on MFC for about eight months now, so there will still be things that creep up from time to time that I don't quite understand. Relative to the average model or member on MFC, I am still a noob.
I have seen something a few times, and need clarification. It concerns private messaging. I know if I want to interact with a model when she is logged in on cam, I can bring up a private message window, and chat with her. I can also turn on her cam in the same window, so, outside of not being able to see the general conversation within her room, I can see or do everything else as I would normally. If I don't want to make my presence known, I can tip as a ninja.
But what if she is not considered "logged in". When the green text of death comes up, "there is a problem with the model's stream, or she is not logged in", the model is not appearing on cam. Whatever it says, specifically, I cannot remember it verbatim. It comes in when the model first logs in, but has not entered the room. If she is not in her room, can she still do a cam to cam with somebody via the chat window? Could she, in essence, do a private without it showing she's on cam? I'm not insinuating that any kind of rules violation is happening. For all I know, it could be possible, and the member could be charged the same token rate as usual. But a few times, I've seen a member give a model a really big tip, and a few seconds later the model is off cam, and the member is no longer in the room. But both are still on. I don't think they're doing a Skype in this instance. So what is possibly going on?
Thanks for the clarification.
