I've missed this boat, and, as is the case with most social media tools, the site itself doesn't seem to do a very good job of explaining itself. So, I'm coming to the experts. What makes OnlyFans different from other paywall platforms?

I'm pretty sure you can open an account for any kind of content. This is incredibly helpful. Thank you for the responses.
Looking through the site's FAQ, etc, they're pretty vague on what sort of people can create pages. If I wanted to make an account to post art, would that be kosher? It seems like something people might use it for. Or is it something where you have to be a "personality" or "model", and content has to center around you?

I'm looking forward to using the "Go live!" feature on there soon, but it's asking me to choose a price to charge to let people into the stream, and I have no idea what to charge.
Is yours a free page? On a paid page you can go live without charging a price.I'm looking forward to using the "Go live!" feature on there soon, but it's asking me to choose a price to charge to let people into the stream, and I have no idea what to charge.

OK, so free vs. paywalled:
What I'm seeing is people mostly utilizing two accounts -- one with "free" content, and one that's paywalled. The subscription accounts have nothing visible to public view. Is it not possible to have a single account with mixed access to content? Like make "free" posts and subscription posts from a single account?
It's just the biggest and most popular fan club site right now.
You either pay a monthly subscription fee for a creator's paid account, then see some stuff included with that price on their timeline as well as the option to purchase other items in private messages, OR you subscribe to a free page and get teasers in the timeline and the option to purchase items on paid posts within the timeline as well as private messages. There is a private messaging system, likes on posts and comments, gif and text comments on posts. There is no automatic way to save or download content (but it isn't impossible if you're somewhat handy with interwebs stuff.)
Everyone runs their page differently.
Paid pages:
Some charge a very low monthly fee with very little offered on their timeline, then focus on selling videos/photo sets/sexting sessions/audio clips in paid private messages (you pay to unlock them or they just sit there).
Some (like me) charge an average monthly fee then put basically everything included in the timeline with limited extras in paid private messages. *
*Some that do it that way might put a 30-90 day expiration on the stuff on their timeline so that old posts disappear after a while, others (like me) just leave it ALL there so it accumulates to a huge amount of posts automatically included with a month's sub fee.
Some charge a very high monthly fee and just do wtf they want because they're a domme/princess personality and have people that will do it just to serve their lady.
Some post every day, some only post here and there.
Free pages:
Majority of people with a free page are using it to advertise for either their paid page (we are allowed one free and one paid page) or for the heftier content that's in their paid posts/private messages.
Posts on the timeline of a free page cannot contain nudity or porn, so the juicy stuff will be behind paywall per post/message.
So if you have favorite models that you want to enjoy their content, click more info on their onlyfans bio to see if they mention their posting frequency or whatnot, maybe ask them if you're concerned about spending. Or just jump on for a month and test the waters then decide if you want to autorenew each month.

Free pages can have posts that viewers pay to unlock, but that's the closest you'll get to that.
