So I log on to Chaturbate today and an anime/hentai broadcaster is in the top 3 list. Begs the question of wth they verified. Different strokes for different folks I guess. But, given that Chaturbate has become a "bot" site I'll tip my favorite broadcasters in Amazon gift-cards rather than tokens until their management can fix their image.

They verify the person just like any other model. She's not the first person to do it either, unless the it's the same person new account. Either way, why would you care so much about what other people get off too? (assuming no issues legally or morally).

They eventually banned the first operator who broadcasted an anime character over a year ago. The FACT is ... they have no way of knowing or verifying the person running the stream. Given their enormous difficulties verifying real people... I'm not surprised they'd verify an animated room.I wanted to rant about the very same anime room. Why is CB allowing this?

I care because of the enormous difficulty Support demonstrates with verifying actual people who broadcast on the site. I care because they've become a crap site overrun with bots. I don't care how people "get-off" within community standards and the law.

DEFINITELY the same person. You can tell by the voice. The really awful fake orgasms/moans, and then the stoned sound in her voice when she speaks (that's not being mean, it's just a way to describe it). Her voice reminds me of Darla from Mr Robot.

Wasn't it discussed multiple times though, and mentioned that the model needs to show their face at least ONCE during the broadcast (even if it's in a password show, then come back out)? Otherwise it could be some random person on the camera streaming.

Models aren't required to show their face. Anonymity is important to many models.. and since 100% of Chaturbates video streams end up on servers in Cyprus for resale it's not surprising they don't show faces. Many new models don't realize the frequency their streams are recorded and posted online.

I just say that If you don't like to see any "anim" just report "anim" things and make it banned like have been the other one last year (certainly enforced with other models reports).
Don't ask the site to be more controlled for this little experimentation, or even to rely on auto face recognition or so, please.

If you really think about it, verifying people that way doesn't make sense. You would have to manually check each room on the site every single time the room goes live and compare it to their ID. Not to mention there is nowhere stating how long you would have to show your face for to give them ample time to be able to check.

Yes... the topic was anime and bots. Yes... it was a rant with a solution for those who don't think CB should become a platform for anime/hentai/manga or any animated video streams (tip via Amazon gift cards and not tokens).
The issue was never about humans showing their face on CB ... somene else went off on that tangent. All video streams must comply with local laws. In the US that is Reg. 2257. Every country has different rules. CB must verify that all models appearing in a stream are older than 18. With animation there is no such legal requirement. Afterall, what government id verifying age is given to a cartoon character? However, the animated image may not depict any minor and that's all CB has to verify. A model could look 12 but be 34.... not true for anime. Since all video streams on CB must be live (pre-recordings are not allowed) the operator(s) of that animated account could be 14 or 104 years old. ... its impossible for the viewer to determine even if the owner is above 18.

That could be them being polite. I'm always very polite when I get them but secertly wishes they tipped me online because it helps my placement or ranking. Amazon gift cards aren't a good idea for long term.

Well.... the SPIFF for ranking pays little although it does attract viewers. My tipping has never been an issue with models I follow nor have their earnings. None are starving. My reaction to CB's latest move and general decline over several years is to stop giving them their 40% in 2020... until they improve.

This has been a thing for over a year, so it isn't any ways recent. You just noticed. pitching a fit and threatening to restrict your payments to a limited method from models you actually appreciate isn't the appropriate way to go about this. Maybe instead of arguing, try to look at this at another perspective.

Disagreements aren't arguments. Nor is this someting I've just noticed in the last 6 years. Fact: the bot situation is out of control and comes in waves. Fact: The hacking of accounts has signficantly increased. The anime is recent and insignificant (but a good place for greys to congregate) Support is responsive in 99.9% with all reports I file. CB IT staff is among the lowest paid in the OC... so highly ineffective. IF you have an issue with one man's opinion... there are other topics. Good luck.

I'm suggesting to use another means of payment instead of gift cards. Because long term it isn't suitable. I was talking about why I personally don't like gift cards. Most models work multiple sites. If you still want to support your favorite models, you should look at other options of payment instead of Amazon gift cards.
