One of my favorite dudes confessed to me that he had been recording me for his personal use, and asked if I wanted him to send me the files. He didn't just record the hot stuff, he recorded everything. I made lemonade by clipping out some of my hottest shows and putting together a video package to sell in my chat room. It is also kind of fun to look back on all of the ridiculous shit I say on cam. Maybe you can have your member who recorded your vid do the same thing? If you're not interested in selling the recordings you can always just use them to critique your lighting, make up, positioning, etc.

I think when it comes to recording, you hope for the best but prepare for the worst. It's near impossible to fight. Can you turn the negative into a positive? I think every camgirl should register a domain name, watermark the cam with it then set a domain pointer that points right to the URL of the camgirl. Now you've turned it into free advertising.

Also something to keep in mind, and I'm not saying this as a "gotcha" but models maybe unknowingly be doing the same thing. I had a friend who ran an online radio station. Every time they played a song they had to be pay something. Technically every time you play a song while camming you are rebroadcasting it and should be paying something. I mean say you're dancing to the song and someone tips you, well the song contributed to you to getting that tip. I understand recording is done out of maliciousness and this is not but the consequence is the same in that a profit is made off of someone else's work without their consent. It's a huge problem on YouTube.
