So those smart folks behind Cards against Humanity came up with a very clever scheme.

On their website they offered people the opportunity to spend $5 to buy nothing on Black Friday, more than 12,000 did exactly that.

I probably should have put this in random discussions, but with so many big name shopping days coming up, I thought some models might want to borrow the idea. :)

I don't know if I should laugh or cry that she bought a $3,120 vibrator, but it is funny as hell.

At first, I was kinda mad. Then, I thought "what the hell", they got a windfall and bought a bunch of stuff they normally wouldn't get for themselves. The ones who made good sized donations received good tax advice, that's all. Doubtful they're all that altruistic, or all the money would have been donated (yeah, I'm a cynic, I know).

This reminds me of the potato salad Kickstarter. What did that dude end up with...$75K, $100K? So while I'm not actually "mad", I think the people who paid/donated to both of these situations are idiots.

Idiots have been around a long time, and there's no evidence that the situation is going to improve anytime soon ;)

I don't know Schlmoe, given the amount of money I've spent on silly things on MFC (really tipping a girl not to cum ) I'm in no position to call people suckers for donating $5 to a company employees that makes a pretty great game.

Yeah I don't think it's about being a sucker, since you know you're getting nothing, but more about having a bit of fun. I've spent $5 on stupider things, lol. I liked seeing what they bought, things like Valentine's Day flights and a car for someone's mom, and the dude who got piano lessons and a keyboard. Kinda cute they all got a windfall and could treat themselves and donate to whatever charities they care about :D

p.s. @HiGirlsRHot I will send you nothing for $5 ;) :haha:
