Somewhere in the universe
Random observation. Most black models list their ethnicity as "various" and not as black. The fastest way to find black models on MFC has been doing a profile site search on Google with "ethnicity: various" as one of the search conditions. Why do many black models do this, not all but a large chunk.

They're likely trying to avoid guys with a race fetish finding them. Race fetish guys have a habit of getting really offensive really fast and not bothering to ask if the model is cool with it first.

I've noticed that quite a lot of Eastern European models list their ethnicity as "Middle Eastern". Come to think of it, I wonder if that's why their rooms seem to attract Middle Eastern guys.

I've noticed that too, especially on Streamate. Is it that they misunderstand what "Middle Eastern" means?

It just makes finding them hard AF. I've also noticed the middle eastern selection by many central/eastern Euro models. Perhaps they have a different worldview?

I chalk the "Middle Eastern" thing up to a misunderstanding of the term.

Not sure if you're looking specifically for models in the U.S., but I have noticed that quite a few beautiful women of a darker complexion are in Colombia, and can be easily found by filtering by region to show Central/South America.

Weird that you felt the need to type out "females" given that MFC only has women on camera. In porn, being black is being part of a niche. For on cam stuff, including yourself in a niche means getting similar members with similar requests all night. I would guess that maybe girls who don't want to deal primarily in those requests or those members broaden their net even if it means missing out on a few searchers.

Bit off topic but I sometimes see euro studios with one or two middle eastern women. Usually get stuck with a name like MuslimGirl. I know the fetish is growing in popularity but can't help but wonder if they would be more successful with a vanilla name.

I don't know. Maybe a lot of the Black models you're coming across happen to be mixed (for example, Black...White...Indian)? I've always listed myself as 'Black' on my profiles.

Off-topic, but I'm also noticing a lot of models have themselves listed as 'bisexual'. I've heard a model admit that she only put that on her profile because other models have it, and I guess guys find it sexier? So when people see 'Straight' on my profile, do they consider me an odd duck? :p

I have also noticed the same about Central/South America and the many beautiful cocoa women from that area of the world. My only complaint is the language barrier. I actually recently filtered out 'all' non-native English speaking countries because although I find a lot of models from all over the world pretty and even interesting, if the level of communication isn't there I find the interaction boring.

That actually makes you far more interesting. The whole every girl is bi in the camming world, at least according to their profile, is actually boring and cliche to me. I find girl on girl to be boring and I find IRL threesomes unsatisfactory.

I have myself listed as black

Didn't know this was a thing :whew:

I didn't know this was a thing either. I list myself as Black. And I agree with @Songbird_Shelly, maybe these girls are actually what they listed. There's a thought. ;)

You state a very unfortunate truth. I'm here to break the status quo however. My desirability is not a niche. I as well as many other MOC have a vast audience. I think the adult industry has convinced certain groups that may not be "mainstream" that they are nothing more than a fetish and unless they work within a certain niche they won't be successful. That's utter fucking bullshit. While I may practice certain fetishes, my blackness is not a fetish. And no one will convince me otherwise. My weight is not just a fetish. I'm more than a BBW ebony. I've had men and women from all walks of life approach me because of the sincere sensuality I exude. And that's online and in real life. We don't have to accept the parameters that are set out before us. REMEMBER THERE IS NO BOX!!!

I didn't realize MFC allowed food items to cam. But seriously, referring to people (esp POC) as food is kinda gross and fetishizing.

I am a person of color (POC) and I haven't fetishized my ethnicity or any other ethnicity. On the internet, everyone is automatically assumed to be white!!!

I said it was both gross and fetishizing. It's a common way for white people to fetishize POC, but it's also gross to refer to women in general as food. I am not food. I am not an object. I am a human.

*My 2 posts are off-topic, but I felt it needed to be said. Carry on with your discussion.*

It is fine for you to feel that way and I will never use any relating descriptions towards you, but I will not accept your reaction as universal. The use of cocoa women is not a form of objectification or meant to be dehumanizing. It isn't even a food comparison as in claiming women or food, but instead relates to the color of these women. You might not get this because you are not from the culture. I have too much experience IRL with using such descriptors towards a variety of women without stirring any anger, and have also been on the receiving end of such forms of admiration. I've also seen such descriptors used as a source of empowerment. I would rather the acceptability of this descriptor be a case by case thing than creating some sort of universal where such an innocuous descriptor, cocoa, becomes the big bad.

I really hope this isn't the instant butthurt side of the internet, where presuppositions supplant intention.

You might not like it, but you've pretty much answered your own question within this thread. The color of your own skin is irrelevant to the conversation. Women on cam are boiled down to their physical attributes, women who are a niche or a minority more so. A woman who could use black as a tag and chooses not to is probably tired of being referred to as cocoa or chocolate or female etc. Things in pornland are cliche as fuck. I'm sure it gets old and stale.

I agree with some of what you have said. I will say that my color was made relevant when I was told how esp' wrong my cocoa descriptor was to POC.

I agree that being seen as only a niche/fetish can be boring, insulating and might attract the crazies.

I mean, I'm straight and your profile pic turned me on so... ;)

LOL this...
Not sure if I should have expected racial stereotypes brought up on this thread, but it's is just... funny... saying something like "it's common for Insert_Race people to" - ugh. There's really no difference between people of different races, and "POC", although I strongly dislike the term, applies to everyone - white is as much a color as any other.

Is the horrible and sexist injustice of being referred to as cocoa an experience you often have to endure? You the real mvp for having the courage to speak up against such atrocities. Please tell black people to stop using the n word next because it makes me feel uncomfortable and guilty about what people with the same skin color as me did decades before I was even born.

That is ridiculous. The OP of this thread, whether we have agreed with his wording or not, is literally trying to find more black women because their looks appeal to him over other races/cultures. There's nothing wrong with that in itself. Women of different races, nationalities, cultures look different. We're allowed to appreciate that respectfully.

On a side note, I have run across a few Eastern Europeans claiming to be "Native American". Maybe they don't understand what that means, idk. But I really wish they wouldn't do that.
