My dad took me to see Goldfinger, (and the gadgeted 64 DB-5) when I was about 7, and more than the ejector seat, I was excited about the remote flipping licence plate, and the oil slick dispenser. Both ideas were so powerful that I drew up plans for working models as a HS freshman in auto shop. The oil spray device mounted behind the rear bumper, rather than in the tail lights, drew from small tanks in the spare tire well, one water and one oil. And the spring loaded plate, actuated by a door lock solenoid only flipped to the other side, where I think the one on the DB-5 was three sided?
Can you say, Bugatti!
And I loved all the mad modes of locomotion created for the Little Rascals, and there were many all with as many gadgets as any Bond car.
