The ideal circumference is going to vary wildly from person to person. Personally, I can't do much over a 1.5" diameter most of the time (yay, endometriosis causing vaginal issues that make penetration difficult!), and it's HARD to find a realistic dildo that small. I finally landed on the Tantus O2 Mark, which is perfectly average-dick-size with a realistic give and in a body-safe material. It might be a hair girthier than 1.5", but it has enough give that it doesn't hurt, and I almost cried after I got it because it actually WORKED. For glass dildos, I stick to 1.25" or narrower, because they have no give and I don't want to hurt myself.

But there is no way we can recommend a perfect size for your girlfriend because every girl has a different preference. Some girls like it very thin, some girls like it very short, others like it thick and long. Everyone has a different dick preference.

Yeah he just didn't explain it right and used across vs arround but 5.2" girth/circumference is above average. I think that the average girth is like 4.7" or something like that.
