Close.... but I'm annoyed about when a model has a count down, and has 550 of 600 (my numbers are low, I know) of what she is trying to collect with only 30 seconds to go and resets the timer again. And has a higher token request. So instead of the goal that was 600 is now 800. And when the model gets 750 and close to either the time expiring or the goal reached....BAM! Time and goal reset.... That is annoying. Although it is funny to watch people start to complain and to watch them get silenced or booted by the mods or the model.

The only time I've seen anything like that was after the members who contributed had left.

I've actually seen it quite a bit ~ most frequently in rooms of a couple hundred or more. The majority seem to be studio girls.

There is one model I know who is quite notorious for doing that. Admittedly she usually has a topic like, '10,000 to make my day' or something in the topic that isn't promising anything. But I have seen sometime she had a 'countdown for show' topic. I'd be offline for an hour come back and the countdown is more than when I was there earlier. Mention this and you get a ban. One time she did so well I actually thought she was going to do the promised show. I actually tipped myself to see if it would actually happen. Just as she was about to make her target she went group, so more out of curiosity I went group to. She was in group with her regulars laughing at the suckers that thought she would actually do the show she had the countdown for!

Not everyone is honest, and not everyone has a work ethic.

That's pathetic. Hopefully it'll be sooner rather than later that her room will be filled with members talking about how much of a scam she is, so that everyone who's new to the room gets suspicious and doesn't spend their tokens on her. Someone like that doesn't belong on MFC because she gives the site a bad reputation.

I was in specific model's room on the very last day of the month, when the model was encouraging her members to tip her into the top 20 before the rankings reset (she was #21 at the time). She began talking shit about the model ahead of her, calling her competition an "old cunt," while receiving massive amounts of tips. Even her loyal regulars followed suit by shit talking at the other models ranked ahead of her. That's when i decided to log off and do something else.

I logged back onto MFC a couple hours later to find that said model did not make top 20, instead was in a fit of rage, cussing up a storm, was supposedly crying (although i didn't witness the tears), and even hit her webcam out of frustration, all because she allegedly was in the top 20 for a split minute but was bumped back down to #21. It was a scene equivalent to a child throwing a temper tantrum when that child didn't get what s/he wanted. According to other members, the model received 10k to 15k worth of tokens that night. That's when a few members began calling her ungrateful and some tried to shame her for the behavior on display. For the rest of the time i was there, she resumed acting as poorly and undignified as any person who could've handle the situation, acting out in such a manner that you'd normally imagine immature tweeners would do on the internet.

...quite the show...

I've seen models go nuts and go absolutely insane when they don't get their goals met. Even if they are 15 tokens shy of their goal. It's funny and at the same time it shows how scary some of the models can be. I mean come on if the model's goal is 10,000 and they hit 9,985. There is no reason to scream, yell, complain, break into a tantrum, throw the mouse, and mainly call the members profane names. It shows no class. It's annoying. I've seen this a few times and I'm sure some of you have seen it too. And what's sad is when a model WILL get 9,985 of 10,000 they say (And I've seen this first hand) "I didn't get the goal, I'm leaving" and next thing you know it they are offline. That is very sad. I wonder what the members who paid out big are thinking when that happens.

They are probably thinking how fucking annoying and stupid it is that hundreds of freeloaders couldn't part with 15 measly fucking tokens to make a show happen that 3-5 of them have mostly paid for because they are so god damned cheap they let a model NOT do a show in order to avoid paying $2 it's expectancy of someone else doing it for them or the model just giving in and just doing the show anyway.
Having less than 50 tokens left in a goal can often be scarier than 400... because suddenly NOBODY want to do it because they are waiting for someone else to... and if a model is forced to actually give up because of that... wow. no wonder she's pissed.

What's more annoying for a premium member than not getting a show goal? Knowing for an absolute fact that you just paid for a show for a bunch of disrespectful assholes. A lot of members feel just as disrespected by freeloaders as models. It kind of ruins the show for the members who paid too when things like that happen.

This is why I do not like public shows very much. You would think 15 of the freeloaders could give one token each.

Obtain a whole bunch of other camgirls' panties via a raffle then turn around and resell them to her own members for profit.

I've been on the tipping side of that, and would prefer that the model cancel the show rather than go ahead with if there's a room full of freeloaders who refuse to finish it. Let's face it: there are plenty of opportunities to see pussy, tits, masturbation or whatever. One more or less chance is no biggie.

Yeah, I've been known to refuse to continue a countdown if I wasn't feeling enough group effort. I LOVE LOVE LOVE public shows SO much and honestly, for me, I feel my time is more respected by the masses than it used to be since I started them BUT on the occasional day... it just ain't happening. I'm not going to put that kind of pressure on my friends if no one else is willing to pony up even 5 tokens to show as a non reg, they still want the show.

I assume any member who finds it annoying didn't tip and is just pissed they didn't get a free show but using the "what about the guys who DID pay" avenue as an excuse to be angry... when they likely have no idea how the members who dropped the tokens actually feel about it.

That's just my experience. The few times something like this has happened to me, every single members who tipped significantly felt exactly the same way I did about it.

Thank you Amber and other models for backing me up on the whole panty-selling shenanigans today. I have never been wronged by a fellow model until today and it did not feel very good. The worst part being that she never apologized.

Exactly this

I'm not clear on this panty business. This one cam model stole panties from other models and then sold them?

My understanding is that a model's regular won a big panty raffle, then sent all the panties to a certain camgirl. She then resold all the panties and when some of the girls were mad about it, she said "it was advertising for you!" and if the girls didn't want her to sell them, they'd have to pay her themselves.

Okay, I did more research!

Model X was asking 50 tokens ($4-5 worth) to cover shipping of property given to her as a gift by a third party who won said property in a raffle when a ticket he paid for was drawn. Did those models who contributed items to this raffle prize receive any of the proceeds of the tickets sold for that raffle? Was any deception or cheating involved? Were any model's reputations harmed by the mere circumstance of having their discarded underwear being resold?

I'm seeing folks getting all O.J.Simpson in Vegas here over property to which the original owners appear to have forfeited their claim, so please explain to me what the issue is.

I think it's the idea that she's trying to profit off someone else's goods. Yes, they forfeited the items by sending them out - but it's still perceived by most people (or so it seems from the reaction) to be a sketchy, shitty thing to do. It's an emotional reaction, which I think is fair.

If I won a camgirls video in a raffle, would that be okay to auction off? Or her phone number? Or just physical goods? I don't know if it follows logical rules and whatever ('forfeiting a claim'), but it's not like anyone's suing anyone else.

Either way, ewww I hope her reg enjoys his mouldy, old panties. :icon-lol:

You're looking at it from a purely logic based perspective (fair enough, you're a man and men do silly things like try to understand situations from a calm and logic based perspective  ) when, for us (or maybe just for me), 100% of the issue has to do with a profound disregard for "Camgirl Culture" and the betrayal of the unspoken bond women in this industry share.
Is it sound grounds for a lawsuit? oh goodness no.
Does somebody need to get slapped? Or at least a strongly worded "talking to" about choices and attitude and consequences?
Many of us ladies feel in the affirmative

What she did wasn't the end of the world for anyone, nor did it break any recognized "possession laws", but it was incredibly uncool and that's what all the fuss is about.

Im really confused about this whole panty thing everyone is talking about.

I just want to make sure this is not *my* mega panty raid raffle we are talking about here?? I'm getting a couple of people asking me about this.. so want to clear up that its not me this is talking about? I'm pretty sure its not but i have had a few wines..

No. This is the raffle that the sketchy twitter promoter TeamCamGirls kind of yoinked from you a while back.

thanks! I went and found all the tweets etc. What a horrible disaster... i see even sketchy twitter promoter dude has washed his hands of it lol.

You know, years ago... (right before i met duke) he won a camgirls panties. They're still in a plastic baggie in a box somewhere. I think I'm missing a profit opportunity here..

Yes we profited from selling raffle tickets in the panty raffle. The shitty thing here is, said model also profited from selling tickets, then her regular sent her all the panties he recieved, and then this week said model decided to mention us in tweets advertising she is selling our panties when I / we did not get even asked if it was ok. I just have an inherent problem with another camgirl profitting off my panties at discounted pricing and using our twitter following to do so. Thank you amber for having our backs on this one :)
