CB is the site I'm familiar with but I guess the question applies to other camsites too.

The most obvious reason to hide the satisfaction rating is if it shows the model's been given a lot of thumb-down votes. But I've seen some good models who hide their rating so I know that can't be the only explanation.

So, assuming it shows that most/all votes are thumb-up, what are the other reasons for a model to hide the satisfaction rating?

On Chaturbate, thumbs up/down votes are on a 90-day-cycle. If a model gets 300 thumbs up on January 1st and those 300 people don't return and vote at least once per person in those 90 days, on or around March 31st she would lose 100 votes throughout the day. For whatever reason, people seem to pay attention to this and it's easier to just let it remain unknown.
