I'm sure that you guys all know that people have been recording shows in private/group/public chat using a program - MFC recently FINALLY put an end to this unfair and unjust act of stealing and in a way now provides a level of protection for their models that they hadn't before.

Here is a chat log detailing one of these sicko's who does this - I'd suggest any of you girls who interact with this guy may want to consider perma-banning him from your rooms.

I dont wanna rain on MFC's technerds parade but really, there are several progs that record live video and there is no way to "stop it" no matter what they tell you.

If it's on your screen, one of several free, or freely available warez full versions will record it.

On that note, I mean, your on the internet, in a public area, doing stuff on cam, private or not do you HONESTLY think you can secure it?

What you do on cam is in the air... forever.

not 100% sure but I think if you click "send a private message" under friend list, type his name in the box and hit enter, it'll open a pm window (even if he's offline) - you might be able to ban from there.

Before you damn every capper / scooper - it's worth pointing something out.

I came to MFC because I saw a video of GoldenLady/Crazysysy/Mary. I won't divulge my reward points, but needless to say that whomever capped/scooped that video made MFC a lot of money. The main model beneficiary has been Karrinax - I've paid a few months of rent for her by now

I'm not pro-scooping/capping - but it is worth bearing in mind before damning it all to hell:
1) It is a form of viral marketing and can boost business by bringing in people who would otherwise NEVER have arrived (I thought such sites were ridiculous).
2) The huge volume of porn out there means for the vast majority of caps won't be seen, or saved, by anyone other than those who watch you on MFC anyway - and even they will delete it relatively regularly.

I don't condone scooping/capping at all. But it is worth remembering that dark clouds do have silver linings

Is it wrong that I've started getting annoyed when someone bothers to tell me that they found a video of me on the web? I mean....duh. I know. And it's too much of an effort to even bother trying to get it taken down. We are all over the torrents and the video porn sites....there is no stopping it.

I think how annoyed I get is in direct relation to just how many people I had tell me within a 2 week period "hey I found this video of you in a pikachu outfit". It freaking went viral and I had someone telling me at least once a day "hey I found this vid". The video isn't even interesting. I think what wasnt mentioned that not only were groups and pvts being recorded, but that they were being recorded and the guy wasnt paying to be in the group or pvt.

What happens is he uses specific software to enter into the group or pvt show and it starts recording. He then exits the site and it keeps recording even though hes not in the room. So basically he goes in spends a few tokens and leaves with the full show being recorded.

So not only was he recording shows, but he was also ripping off the models.

False. There's actually things you can do to get videos removed. And it's very easy and fast to do actually. Let me also say use this logic instead....... "there is no stopping it" if you report a video that is potentially hundreds or thousands of views taken away from reporting just one video having it removed. People who could have viewed that one video could have reuploaded it to another host causing more views. No you can't stop it but you can slow down the spread of it and it's easy to do.

I think what wasnt mentioned that not only were groups and pvts being recorded, but that they were being recorded and the guy wasnt paying to be in the group or pvt.

What happens is he uses specific software to enter into the group or pvt show and it starts recording. He then exits the site and it keeps recording even though hes not in the room. So basically he goes in spends a few tokens and leaves with the full show being recorded.

So not only was he recording shows, but he was also ripping off the models.

You are aware most sites and even instant messengers have exploits? Again new 2 internetz.

strokin - do you know how many sites and torrents have videos of me on them? Neither do I. I'd guess somewhere near 50 unique videos are floating around, each video on multiple sites and torrents, including ones that don't even have my name attached, but that I'm recognized in. The amount of time it would take to get every single one of those taken down is not worth it to me nor to most models I know. Like I said, it's viral. And there are even some websites that won't honor DMCA requests, making it even more difficult to get them taken down. If it was so easy to get things like this taken down then we wouldn't have such a severe issue with pirating of everything -- pictures, movies, music, books all over the internet.

Also, if you think that everyone on this forum would record a girl fisting her ass....you're all kinds of messed up o0

Is it wrong that I've started getting annoyed when someone bothers to tell me that they found a video of me on the web? I mean....duh. I know. And it's too much of an effort to even bother trying to get it taken down. We are all over the torrents and the video porn sites....there is no stopping it.

They're telling you as a way of getting you to talk to them. They think if they tell you you'll ask them for the link, say thank you, want to talk to them, etc.

False. There's actually things you can do to get videos removed. And it's very easy and fast to do actually. Let me also say use this logic instead....... "there is no stopping it" if you report a video that is potentially hundreds or thousands of views taken away from reporting just one video having it removed. People who could have viewed that one video could have reuploaded it to another host causing more views. No you can't stop it but you can slow down the spread of it and it's easy to do.

I hate to say it, but SIRLARRY.... I've heard horrible stuff about you as well when it comes to recording/harassing models.

I've heard it from more than one person. So if you're gonna come here and rant and rave about recording shows... You might wanna admit that you do it to!!! :angry4:

I don't think it's a huge deal. I mean, they can't catch video of me doing anything I'm not doing? If they are making bank off of it, I'd like my cut. Hehe. For the most part, I've met awesome and funny people doing MFC. Wherever you find fun human beings, there are bound to also be some bottomfeeders. C'est la vie.

I don't know. You don't interest me or I've never viewed your room. Can't remember. So I wouldn't have any idea of how many sites there are. However I'm not going to look up any right now. But if you're interested in seeing how easy it is to get stuff removed in a matter of hours PM me. If you don't care enough to know how to do it right then I don't care enough to explain it. I'll also repeat there might be tons of vids and you might not think there's anything you can do about it. But there is something you can do about it. That's by stopping the spread of it. I shouldn't have to repeat some thing so black and white. ONE video could have hundreds or even 10,000+ views. If you got the video removed and properly the views on that video stop. The download of that video and possible rehosting of that video someone would eventually would do never happens either. You don't DMCA it either. :lol: As for movies, music books and other warez those aren't hard to get removed from a hosting site either. But what normal person would care about doing that to warez?
