In years past I have visited the tanning salon just to get the pasty whiteness dulled down a bit. I can get about 1 hours worth of lay-out time accomplished in 6 minutes in the tanning bed, and (if I lay right, lol) can get a more even tan. Once I've gone a few times at beginning of summer or end of spring, I can enjoy laying out at my pool without getting burned as easy. Some people refer to this as a "base tan".

I'm not a fan of extremely tanned girls, but I do enjoy the look of a little golden tan during the warmer months when bikinis and shorty shorts are everywhere.

I can't stand when I get underbutt tan! I think it happens more from tanning beds. But I never fake bake, I lay out in my yard and I try to push my ass out but it must be too big because I still get those stinkin lines!

Whenever I go out in the sun, my freckles seem to exponentially increase thus giving the ILLUSION of tan...

If I am out in the sun enough, eventually I can say that I am "off-white"...

I don't tan.

First my freckles get bigger. They almost merge. Then suddenly, I'm burnt, and I've only been in the sun an hour with sunscreen. :dontknow:

When I was little, I didn't have as many or as big freckles. They got bigger and more numerous every year. My dad used to joke that one day I'd become an enormous freckle.

On camera, one regular calls me the resident ghost, cause the camera doesn't catch the freckles, and I get really pale-looking really easily.

some guys actually like the under bum tan lines... esp if thats the only one they have I actually sit on the bed and spread my cheeks for the last 2 min of my session to blend everything, but since those areas do not get as much "sun" as the rest of me, i stay a little lighters. you will also always tan more where your body has the most oxygen. There is alot more to tanning than you think.

I usually alter a bit between tanning and self tanner. so that helps with blending.

In all seriousness though, I've noticed that tanning beds are notorious for those kind of tan lines, so if ever I do go to a tanning salon I always go standing up. It's obviously not as comfortable or relaxing but you get a more even tan and I usually wind up shaking my tail feather in there :dance:

You can KINDA see my tan lines, but the last minute, I tend to sit UP in the bed with my legs hanging off the bed. That always helps.
