If a woman is legally FEMALE and promotes herself as a woman on the cam site she works on, she's absolutely good to go. If the site she's working on verified her as female and she presents herself that way, I go based off of that. I think MFC was referred to before as an easy means to judge this due to them only accepting female models. If they can be approved on MFC, they're all set here! There are very likely already cam girls whom have been given model status here whom are actually trans, but were approved because they simply verified themselves with me and their cam site as a female.

Just posting this as a reminder for anyone still wanting to get riled up about all this. Amber has already said she'd allow them in. That criteria is simply based on other sites recognizing them as female.

Don't like that they can't get in to the MO section here? Start a letter writing campaign to all the camsites. Cause it's on them now.
Thanks for posting that again Jerry. That was my first thought, - that if a model had completed reassignment, (hope that is still PC, if not sub the correct term), then just go with female model, and avoid the history.

But you do understand that to do so, can feel like hiding who you were, and therefore who you are. It's passing! But such is life - things are not always perfect, and we all have choices that come along that we may not think are ideal, but we make those choices. If we are wise, we understand the imperfection of the world without spending to much of our own happiness trying to change things we can not, and we don't cause undo grief to those who are compromising to make things better.

And, I must say when I read Lyli's retort my first thought was that I did not think the Model who was pointing out the banner was being critical. The way it starts with, 'except for' I can see how it might be interpreted as being critical, but I did not read it that way.

Edit: the below youtube is not aimed at Lyli, or that situation but at the body of my post.

Yes, hopefully one day, we (models of any gender) will be able to talk about lighting tricks.

I think that if we can take any conclusions out of this discussion is that topics of a technical/non-sensitive nature related to camming could be discussed in the public sections of the forum instead of being in the models only section, which would benefit models of all genders.

As Deez already mentioned, there's already a wealth of information that's helpful to new, and even experienced models in the public forums. Thoughtful questions are nearly always answered with loads of helpful advice by generous models who have often figured things for themselves and learned from their mistakes. I've been around here a long time on and off and I'm in awe of how much time some models take to help newbies out in public threads no matter what form their erectile tissue takes when fully engorged. My guess is that anyone willing to take the time could glean about 90% of whatever technical, financial and other cam-related advice is provided in MO just by using the search function on public threads.

How did I criticize? Read my post over and see where I was criticizing.
The criticism was so obvious in the undertone.

LilyMarie stop trolling everything i post. Dont know whats more sad, you trying to reply at everything I post,
I do not reply to everything you post.
I replied 1 or 2 times on ACF when I noticed you shamelessly spamming your Manyvids link, and I was definitely not the only one who noticed... You very much come across as someone who only made her account here to post her Manyvids link - remember when I called you out for having 14 posts and all 14 of them included you talking about how great Manyvids is? I didn't make that up. It was painfully noticeable.
Don't do stupid shit like that and people won't call you out on it, I guess. :? This has absolutely nothing to do with 'trolling', by the way (here you can learn what trolling is). It's called 'calling you out'.

or you taking the time to make those screenshots,
Just FYI, making that whole post took me somewhere between one and one and a half minutes, while I had some water boiling for a tea - I had literally nothing better to do, and your hypocrisy definitely needed to be put on display. Like.. you can't try to call Amber out for having a simple banner on her page, while shoving down your MV links into the throats of tons people who didn't ask for them, and get away with it... Not to mention that Amber's BAF link only gets her tokens on her premium account, your MV link gets you actual money. Not the same. (But this is just a side note, what's worse is of course the way you've been spamming your links.) I'm pretty fast at the computer, and I have this super useful imgur extension that lets you drag your mouse across the screen, takes a screenshot of the area you highlight and immediately uploads it to imgur. So yeah, it didn't actually take any time at all, sorry.
(The extension is very useful, everyone should get it. :thumbleft: )
By the way, I think the hours and days you spent throwing your link at people (I don't want to imagine how many spammy tweets you made...) are a liiittle more 'sad' than the minute I took to call you out on your hypocrisy and your spam yesterday, or the 5-6 minutes I'm taking writing this post here.

when I wasn't even being mean in the first place!
Yes you were being 'mean', you were criticizing her for using her goddamn BAF link (and almost every model uses hers on Twitter when she's getting on cam). Also, read Jolene's post, she described the other problems with your attitude pretty well.
It doesn't even matter if you were mean; mean isn't the only way to behave shitty on the internet. I was simply talking about how you were spamming your affiliate link, which is also shitty behavior and no one like seeing it. Period.

I'm sorry to everyone else, I didn't want to derail this thread further, but damn is this girl weird and annoying. Carry on. :handgestures-salute:

I think that if we can take any conclusions out of this discussion is that topics of a technical/non-sensitive nature related to camming could be discussed in the public sections of the forum instead of being in the models only section, which would benefit models of all genders. I'm certain there will be a lot of overlap between what is already posted in MO and what isn't in the public sections, but this is a small price to pay (IMHO) to the benefits this could bring to the whole community while reducing the overhead to Amber. (Sure, there will be a gap initially on what is available on Models Only and what isn't available on the public sections, but this gives an opportunity for models and/or members who want to help out answering those questions)

Not gonna add anything to the main discussion because I don't want to be redundant but I would like to show my agreement with this post.

I keep seeing people say that there are informative threads in the models only forum about things that aren't very "secretive" like lighting and that models should "get verified" so they can see those threads. There's so many questions I keep thinking up that I don't see answered on the public forums but I feel guilty about having to keep making threads in AAM.

I'm under the impression that model verification is for legit models with working camsite profiles, whereas I'm taking the time to research and get my space prepared before I even sign up as a model and am not sure I'd be allowed into the forum with only a basic profile on MFC and SM and this thread kind of reaffirms that belief if security for that forum is so tight.

If there's going to be info and tips and tricks that could help new models that don't really need to be in a closed off space, could we please keep it out here where us noobs could benefit from it?

I have requested that those interested in helping this situation jump in and create some public threads to make the public section a little more informative. Thanks to those whom have already done so, it's appreciated. And thank you to those people who took the time to consider all sides to this issue.

Locking this thread now as I think it's been hashed out to its extent. The OP hasn't even returned since the first day she signed up, so I don't know if anything said reached her or not.
