Oh and BTW, does anyone know how that guy made that comment look like that? No one else in my chat room could see it but me.

And the 6k camscore model agreed. Nice.
 I really want to play 'guess the model' but I think I'd get in trouble
I'm curious who she is/was too. Lol.
I don't know who she is. I do know fishberg though. Nice guy. And he tips pretty well (I know his usual model, but at 6k, this girl is not his usual model). So don't completely write him off as a bum, he probably compensated her well. He even PM'd me asking me about my bubblegum fetish and then told me i didn't want to know what is fetish is. Now I know.

It's an emote. The room can see them too, but the text looks much different and they probably just didn't notice it.

They would type this out
Code:
{*emote*}
Then whatever they type after that comes out as part of the emote.
It looks nicer on the web broadcaster than the software. I'm wondering what is holding you back from using it. ;)

You must tell me the improvements you've found in the web broadcaster. I used it briefly but I didn't feel like there was much of a difference.

It's newer, prettier, faster, and the ignore function works wonders. The pm manager window is incredible, with tabs and alerts. You can ban and pull up member info faster and easier. The options window opens and operates faster...

That list could go on and on, but here are other threads dedicated to it. Bottom line is that the software is like version 1.0 and the broadcaster is the current and most updated 5.0. As far as I know, they are done updating and adding any features to the software. It will become obsolete at some point.

I don't like the confusion between American English and British English either. Apparently 'I don't care' in America is the equivalent of 'I don't mind' in the UK. I don't care would mean 'I don't give a crap' in the UK. Its all the more confusing :(

"I don't care"
"I don't mind"
"I don't give a crap"
Don't these all mean the same thing?

"I don't care" and "I don't give a crap" are more confrontational, and might be used in a conversation in which you're trying to convey how little you care about something.

"You're annoying me"
"I don't care"

or

"You smell"
"I don't give a crap"

Whereas "I don't mind" kinda denotes the lack of a preference.

"Anal or oral?"
"I don't mind"

The silly screencaps reminded me about the time a member attempted to convince me to grow my nails out.

"Why not have long nails?"
"I stick my fingers in my body for a living."
"So?"
"I used to hurt myself on my nails when they got long before I started doing this."

Kudos to all you girls who have long nails and can keep from hurting yourself on them!

Possibly TMI, but - the way I keep from hurting myself with my nails is that I get gel/acrylic wraps. It blunts them. :shhh:

My nails get jaggedy and sharp when they're short because they break off. When I grow them out I get wraps and it keeps the nails from breaking AND keeps me from hurting myself on the sharp, pointy edges.

Back on topic, I got this winner of an e-mail today:

Scammed how?

I'm sure stuff like this happens on a daily basis on MFC, but these guys were just spamming GinnyPotter's room to rave about a model named MzFelicia. Then in MzFelicia's room someone told her what was happening, and she laughed about it and acted like she didn't give a fuck.

I don't know about anyone else, but if I were to hear about any of my regulars behaving this way in another model's room, I would be pissed and send her an apology via MFC Mail.

She probably does give a fuck but just trying to salvage the mood in her room - most times when guys do retarded shit like that the model had nothing to do with it.

Then she should've at least showed that she felt bad for the other model. She thought it was funny, and she was being a smartass about it too, as guys in her room continued to sit there talking shit about GinnyPotter. And they were typing to each other "Hey, are you still in GinnyPotter's room?" and they were like "No, I left that bitch's room." All the while, that other model's sitting there with a stupid-looking grin on her face.

She may not have anything to do with it, but she still needs to put her guys in check. I sure as hell wouldn't allow guys in my room to continue badmouthing other models, while sitting there with some stupid-looking grin on my face. I would be pissed at the guy(s) and would MFC Mail the model to apologize for the guys being assholes.

Exactly. And though models do have to be concerned with their "room mood," they also need to be aware of the long term consequences of the behavior of their regs...when her regs diss other models in her name. Ruined room mood only costs one that one session, the other could cause a site war.

When you told me about that guy who posted in another model's room "I'm just in here cuz Fox isn't online," I was very disgusted and embarrassed. I'm glad to be rid of him.

By the way, you used the word 'dis(s)'...that's so cool.

My grandmom uses that word too (not to compare you to my grandmom...lol), which I think is so cool...haha.

Yeah, I feel yeah. I don't put up with shit talking about other models in my room. Even if they are saying something that a model said or did where "she was in the wrong" I at least try to say something in her defense (ie, 'well she prob just having a bad night' or 'well we're all human and make mistakes' that sort of stuff), then I change the subject.

Every time I have ever given in to peer pressure or whatever dumb ass reason it may have been, to join in with talking shit behind another person's back, IT HAS ALWAYS COME RIGHT BACK AROUND TO BITE ME IN THE ASS!!!!

I realise this message is slightly tangential, but I felt it's a good idea to post nonetheless.

If I was a model (impossible hypothetical, I understand) - I would personally admit ignorance in the regard of whether a fellow model was in the right or wrong; I think it's impossible to make a sound judgement without knowing the facts about it. I don't hold anything against the model for being personally indifferent to the subject, but the participants of the subject (the regulars) should have been warned against criticizing other models in her room.

If I was in the situation - I would request that they did not speak poorly of the other model in the room, and in MFC in general - it's unnecessarily demeaning and woefully disrespectful to disparage one's name without evidence.

Don't tolerate your regulars/so-called fans using your room to badmouth fellow models (and making a game out of spamming that room, then returning to your room to laugh about it). It doesn't get much simpler than that.

Making a game out of posting "______ is the best on MFC!" 20 times in a model's room and then returning to your fave model's room to brag about what you did? Um...what is this, a high school cafeteria? :woops:

I think that sometimes when a lower cam score model is bummed about her low score or a slow day, her guys resort to badmouthing the higher placed models to make her feel better about herself ("Fuck _____. She ain't shit. You're #1 in our eyes, bb."). That's dumb. Just tell the model what you like about her without putting other models on blast and making comparisons. Don't be an ass. Plus you never know who's watching and listening. Like Ja Rule said, shit's gonna get ugly. LOL.

I think you may be misreading/interpreting my post. I wasn't defending the model for being tolerant - rather, I was defending her for being indifferent. I don't agree that she should have left it the way she did, but I don't believe that she was obligated to defend the other model in the situation either. I fully agree that melodrama is unnecessary and deleterious (bad). I'm not arguing on that point, though.

I've never fully understood a lot of the typical mindsets. I could only speculate - perhaps its an egoistic mechanism to disrespect others? I don't know.

I try to minimize drama in general. I realise that what I say and do can and most likely will be spread around like wildfire. I'm really not sure what we're disagreeing on here.

Exactly... While it may not be typical to this forum, it goes to show that a good percentage of models actually don't give a crap about other models or what guys do, if it has a potential to generate a token for them. I have found this across the board and not country or region specific. A number of times I have been the one telling the [random] model one/some of her members are spamming or insulting in another models room with her name. I have been thanked maybe twice, for the info. which I try first by pm if its open, but the majority of responses are "So, why should I care?" I do make the effort to be sure there is no language misunderstanding. Most of the time, even when its in discussed in pm, the result is a 'go away i dont care' and then they ban me. I could understand maybe some hostility IF I had disrupted their room flow or such. Many times they are small rooms and few talking and I have never interrupted any show. Sometimes other room members chime is and say 'lol.. he's at it again' or similar while they all 'lol' the chat. Its not a matter of disrupting and salvaging room flow, at least what I have seen.
One time, I did this when a guy had crashed the room of a top 20 model I know pretty well. The other model did indeed seem glad I told her of the guys actions. She banned the member after chewing him a new ass. The banned guy proceeded to pm me till I blocked him and then he continued on my profile until I blocked that as well. LoL... some folks just don't get it.

That is where you and I disagree. I didn't say she needs to spend the rest of her cam shift talking about it, but she should've addressed it to the guys. By sitting there with the stupid grin on her face while they're talking and laughing about it, she's basically condoning their behavior. Not cool, and yes, she should've spoken up. Any model with an ounce of decency would've spoken up and said "Guys, that's fucked up...I can't believe you did that...please apologize to that model" (or something along those lines).

Not sure why you would disagree with what I've just said, but it's no biggie. I don't feel like going back and forth with you about it though.

Thank you for understanding.

That sucks that a model would be that selfish and ungrateful to respond by saying "Go away...I don't care." There are some nasty females on some of these cam sites, and I don't mean the good kind of 'nasty' either. LOL. I guess females like that are just all about the money and don't really care about anything/anyone else.

As for the model who was grateful that you told her, and banned the member...THAT is what I like to hear. Any time a viewer spams another room to give his fave model more exposure, not only is he disrespecting the model who he's humiliating, but he's actually making his fave model look bad too. And then it puts that model in an awkward position where she'll feel like she needs to apologize for the guy's behavior. I wouldn't want to be known as the model who has asshole regulars that spam other rooms. I would be embarrassed and pissed, and I'd feel bad that they humiliated/disrespected other models like that.

I think what HG was getting at, minus about 200 superfluous words, is that unlike the majority of the girls on ACF not evey model gives a damn about badmouthing others, RevKillerKunt and Agent99 are two who did/do it regularly.
Think about it though, some lower ranked models spamming in a top earner's room, all it does is give he lower score model a terrible reputation.
