I was going to post this in the other thread but I took to long...
I would argue that is better (referring to the gifs with just a plain background you mentioned), one of the issues with the gifs you posted other than the frame rate is the readability of them there is too much going on. Often less is more.
I'm going to take a guess and say you don't do much design work, but if you continue making gifs and learning more about design and layout etc, you'll look back at these and be like wow these were bad
it reminds me a lot of my early design work, and the feedback I got from a professional designer I think applies. "It's like you found the effects draw and applied everything because it was exciting and new without thinking about why. If someone asks you why a color, a font, an effect or anything else in the design was used instead of a different choice you should be able to explain why you made that decision. Design is its own language different choices will change the meaning of an image."

Horrible gifs, so glad there is an option to switch them off

Do any of you use Our Groceries app? I love it so much. It updates in real time so if hubs and I are shopping together but in separate parts of store we can see what the other put in the cart already.
You can have multiple lists for different stores, and it keeps previous items in history.
I don't think a lot of people know this but you can use the pharmacy at all whole sale clubs without a membership. Often times it is cheaper than anywhere else and there's rarely a wait time or shortage in supply.
oh i wil try this. thanks! (still a paper chaos girl) but since they also have non specific store options it should work for me as well (europe)

I just tried Costco croissants for the first time this weekend. They are soooo good!!
I like the idea of the app. I can't get my partner on board with anything like that though. He'd forget to use it. He has trouble focusing and remembering stuff, like me. He's particularly bad in stores, he like half freezes. Lol he'd lose his mind trying to do that too hahaha. He wanders off and loses me, I need to put a GPS tracker on the guy.
We double buy stuff all the time though. Even after thorough communication. So at that point there's no helping it really.
