I'm going to start this by saying: I have no hidden meanings behind my words. These are not sarcastic. I truly mean every word I've written, and I have no bad feelings towards you at all.

I really don't show pictures on cam.
I am glad you don't anymore. Hopefully nothing bad comes of the earlier mistake.
You shouldn't try to mess with someone's job just because you are feeling self-righteous.
This isn't about feeling self-righteous. This is about protecting children. For the record, I've never reported a model for anything, because I haven't seen anything I felt worth reporting. Oh sure, a few public shows I've accidentally stumbled upon, but I haven't seen the pet stuff or kid stuff anywhere.
My child is fed, happy, healthy, and safe. I am proud of the job I am doing as a single mother. It's hard, but I do my best.
No one is saying that single mothers shouldn't be camgirls. A number of the camgirls replying in this thread are mothers. I'm not one of them. I'm one of the people who wasn't protected enough as a small child, and though that had nothing to do with sexuality or porn, I am very protective of children.
I feel enough guilt when I am not a perfect mother. I don't need you or anyone else to tell me that I am not perfect. I KNOW.
We aren't saying you're a horrible person for not being perfect. And you have admitted that it was a mistake for you to show the pictures, so I commend you for that. We live, we learn, we move on.
So, go watch someone who appeals to you, there is no reason tear people down unnecessarily by making their life harder. Once again, it's just catty.
Once again, it's just protecting the children.
I feel catty even participating in this discussion, but someone has to be the bad guy. Might as well be me!
*hugs* playing devil's advocate is a hard role. Don't get too caught up in it though!
I know the risks of being a camgirl. I signed up anyway. So did you. Now stop fretting and let me be. If my actions cause me harm or my daughter harm, I'd be the one dealing with the consequences, not you.
I sincerely hope that nothing happens to your daughter from your mistakes. I'm sure you do as well, please don't take this as me condemning you! One of the reasons I haven't had children yet is because I'm terrified of how much damage I could do to them from making mistakes. Maybe one day I'll be able to take the plunge. I always did want kids.
I am a grown up, I make (mostly) responsible choices, and I admit when I am wrong and learn from my mistakes.
Seriously, learning from mistakes is something not everyone seems to have gotten the hang of.
I already have one restraining order from behaving exactly as you guys suggested within my personal life. Banning isn't gonna stop a guy who wants to hurt you or know more.
It's so sad that this is a truth.
Run your own room as you choose. Let others run theirs as they choose.
I don't believe this thread was about hunting for people who are doing this. This thread was about someone who was perving on MFC stumbling across it. Whether it was a member or a model is irrelevant. They were a member at that time. I have a member account on MFC. Sometimes, I like to go and watch the models. A few times, I've even masturbated to them, when I had the tokens to join a group show (a rare treat for me).
When I'm on my member account, I'm just another member. I have an obviously female name, so I try to make sure the model is okay with females being in her room, and my member profile does mention that I am a camgirl, but I don't bring it up in public chat, and I don't allow anyone not on my friend's list to pm me. Basically, when I'm on my member account, it's just as much my business as any other member what's going on in this model's room.
MFC relies on the members to police the models. The admin doesn't do it. They rely on members complaining when models break the rules. That's one of the reasons certain rules are cracked down on more than others- the members won't stand for it happening. I think it's a testament to the quality of members that they report models who have a child on camera. It shows that the members who are actually part of the MFC community won't stand for children being anywhere near porn, and that's a good member base to have. Sadly, there are at least 10 times as many members who aren't part of the community.
When I perv, if I see a model with a man on cam, I let it be. If I were to run across a model with a child on camera, or a model doing sexual things with an animal on camera, I would report the model. If I were to see a model with a pic or vid of her child on camera, I'd say something to the model asking her to please not show her child on an adult entertainment site, regardless of how PG her room currently is. If I notice that it's a habit of hers, or she sends insults/curse words my way, I'll report her. (I have a horrible memory, so if I notice it's a habit of hers, I'd have to have seen it at least 20 times.)
