Technical Problem

Yesterday, my stream shut down and I was unable to make it work. The normal dialog window asking for cam and mic settings will not come up. This happened a few times in the past, but I was able to refresh a few times and it would start working again, but not this time. I have tried different browsers and don't use OBS, even though Show RTMP/OBS broadcast information is in the window.
I have tried different lap tops and get the same results. I have another account and it works just fine.
I also checked the settings for the camera .

When I click "Broadcast Yourself", I get the first picture, Your Stream is Currently Offline, I'm supposed to get what's in the second image.

The 2 screens are on different urls
the first screen you are getting should be: https://chaturbate.com/b/haywired1/?useExternalSoftware=ture
and the second screen in your thumbnails should be: https://chaturbate.com/b/haywired1/?useExternalSoftware=false

Do you use OBS for both accounts?

Check the settings on there because it looks like you may be using a different stream key than the one needed for the account

Yes, I have a backup account, I used _hay1 to show what I am supposed to get when I open up my room as an example, that's all.
I will just have to wait until Monday and maybe CB support will respond.
I don't use OBS at all.

and telling us what happens? We believe your settings think you're using OBS, so it's waiting for your RTMP info(server and streamkey) which you obviously don't have. Clicking the links in cbhours' post should switch your settings to know you're not using OBS and use the browser broadcaster.

Hi Amber,
I've clicked that link,"Use In-Browser Broadcaster", at least 100 times and nothing happens, it just goes back to to the same thing. In fact, I tried to type in a models room this morning and I get this, "This room does not allow others who are currently broadcasting to chat.", it still thinks I'm broadcasting. Very frustrating.

This is above my pay grade for sure, email support and they will walk through the issue with you, or disconnect you on their end. What's wild to me is I've only known this to be an OBS issue. Streaming and done for the night, click stop broadcast on the CB web page but forget to shut down OBS so it keeps running your stream on white label sites. Which would ultimately result in a flag or shut down for being off screen for too long.

Please...when you post here put way more information because its not making any sense, if you can't log off how did you sign in to your other account? Ur not stuck broadcasting you don't show up as online on cbhours.

Unable to log out would seem to be a browser caching issue. Have you tried a different browser or clearing out the cache?

I know it's confusing, I did the best I could to explain, but for some reason, it fixed itself.

I just got an email and they fixed the logging out thing, maybe that fixed the other issue too.
