Stripchat is the ONLY site I can stream and not make money on?

I decided to give stripchat another try and after 3 hours it’s just a failure for me!
I think in 3 hours I made $5, and in the last 2 about 10 cents.
I don’t know how people do it on there. I was successful on other token sites but stripchat is just different and I just don’t get it!!!
There is virtually zero interaction, and no one tips!
They may have good traffic….but what good is it when all they do is sit and stare?
The only person who even said a word just tried to get me to lower my private to a stupidly low rate!
I have a fair tip menu, spin the wheel is cheap….NO ONE wants to spend more than a nickel on there.
And it’s certainly not fun because no one interacts or responds to your hello.

I just looked over the token stats for the 3 hours on stripchat. I made 155 tokens=$7.75 other than a couple videos I sold. My high tip in 3 hours was 40 tokens($2). Other than that is was a token here, a token there.
I mean I log on ready to play and have fun and this is what I get on stripchat???
Lots of traffic again….BUT NO ONE DOES A THING!
I show up…The rest is out of my control!
Its too bad because if members would interact and spend a bit…it could have been fun for both sides!
I just don’t get members on stripchat!
why not spend a little and interact to make it fun for model and member?

only person to talk was an ultimate who had over 3000 tokens he was holding on for….and sat in my room a good 10 minutes and just insulted me and didn’t tip a nickel!

there just seems to be a weird culture or entitlement on the site, I have not experienced elsewhere not even cb.
My suspension last week was actually a blessing!
I have no issue performing for people….but all these people on stripchat want to do is sit…not talk…not spend a nickel.…so what in gods name is the point in even being on the site????

I am (and many others probably are) getting the feeling that this line of work is not good for your mental/emotional state.

If possible, find something else to make a living off of, or at least a non-token site to earn your living on. It really feels like live cam isn't for you. Maybe focus on content sites, create videos and sell them on multiple of them or an Onlyfans, and master the art of advertising on adult friendly sites (Pornhub, reddit, Twitter) to drive traffic to your content pages.

You may be too young to know the reference (Mad Men, show that was popular a decade and a half ago) and may be too upset to realize the point being made. This quote/scene in the show was kind of a moment of tough love/harsh truth. Not everyone is cut out to handle this job. That was my point. I assume you wanted encouragement from posting this thread, but the truth might be that live camming, at least on token sites, isn't right for you.

As I’m lying in bed with a migraine thinking…I think the big difference between CB for me and SC is on CB people used my tip menu and took me private.
On SC I have a decent fair priced tip menu and private…and no one uses it!
Its almost seems like there is no point to a tip menu on SC.
Either way nothing works for me there.
Last week I tried a naked cum show and made less than $7 in 1.5 hours. Over 200 people…but no one spending.
So this is why it’s so frustrating.

There's a big element of luck in this job - you can do everything "right", put in the hours, be engaging, have great equipment, interesting work persona and fun show ideas but there is always a risk the right members who would be willing to spend just won't stumble upon your room while you're online. That's at least partially why you might do very well on one token site and struggle on another.

Of course the more you stream the more chances the right members will finally find you, but there's never a guarantee.

If you want to continue with Stripchat I would recommend split streaming. It won't bother you so much that it's slow on Stripchat if you have another site that you've been doing better on running at the same time and keeping you engaged.

Nice suggestion, but considering I streamed 6 hours in free chat and made less than $10 it’s just not worth it.
I have never been able to make much on SC and I have tried off and on for years there.
For my mental health and sanity it’s best I leave it altogether!
If I leave my account open or use it as split stream, I will then continue to keep trying and likely get the same result.

5 years is a long time. My appearance has changed in 5 years. I've gotten visibly older, among other things. I understand it can be a factor in this looks based industry.
One thing I've personally discovered is that I can do great on one site and terrible on another. Many, many people can say the same. It doesn't sound like SC is for you, so stop putting time in it and focus on what makes you money. Amber was trying to be helpful listing other sites, i would also encourage you to put your energy into those sites.

stripchat is a very good site to earn tokens. the members are quite nice and talkative. you have to gain some experience here. after people get to know you, it will be easier for you. no one got rich from the first hours

Maybe for some, but not for me. I have tried off and on for 2 years, and never made more than $20 per hour if I was lucky. I just don’t get the spenders ever. My highest tip is like 10 tokens.

Sorry if my post came around as being negative towards you. I was trying to be objective. I understand the world can be tough and overwhelming and I honestly try to do my best not to participate in that but sometimes survival requires us to adapt rather than fight it. Wait, I didn’t see any mention of it, do you have a lovense toy connected? Without a toy I found it extremely difficult to make money on stripchat. Also consistency is key. I spent hours online making no money before I was successful. And even after I started making good money I still had days when I made no money. Being a cam model is tough, I’ve had my days where I’ve logged off and just sobbed bc I felt discouraged and unwanted. But my husband always tells me “All it takes is one stream”. And it’s true. You can make $5 all week and out of the blue someone comes in likes your vibe and you make $3K. Just be consistent and go on with the attitude that today will be the day and if it’s not today then try again tomorrow.

I also recommend to allow yourself mental breaks. And to do things you enjoy even when you are online. A lot of times the viewers are simply happy with just being involved, so instead of focusing your attention on what THEY want to see do what YOU want to do and bring them along for the ride.

I.e.: If YOU want to shower, then shower. If YOU want to watch a movie, then watch one. If YOU want to paint your toes. then paint them. Don’t wait around for the tippers to get the show started. Live your life and enjoy yourself and the tips will come eventually.

I had the same experience with MFC, drove me nuts seeing others do so well. Some sites just don't work with my personality and I've learned to try a lot of different sites and focus on those that I can pull more money from. Try all of the popular sites and see which works best (or do what I do and stream to several at a time so that when one is slow I can shut it down and focus on the one that is busier).

Perhaps a naked lady paying attention to them is precisely what they wanted and what they got and felt no need to tip for it. Everyone loves a little teasing. (The Dance of the Tokens, if you will.) That said, I know how hard it is to get a room to engage and how disruptive to earning a dead room can be. You said you were on CB years ago. What you remember about the industry has changed in today's pandemic dynamics. Maybe visit a few rooms and see what they are doing to get tips and adapt your room or routine accordingly. What worked yesterday or years ago may not work today. If this is something you really want to do, don't give up. If it is seriously affecting your self-esteem and mental health, there are other sites to use. Good luck!

THIS! OMG I can totally relate. I LOVE love love MFC but it has never really loved me back. I'm not too fond Streamate and I make all my $$ no problem on there. My regulars there keep me there & I love them for it. I'm not there for the site/support or company, being they've never listened to their models. Argh!!
The only time I've cried is the few times I've logged off MFC, so I get it. Yes, I cried. More than once. Why is she/random model, making $$ and not me? Why isn't anyone tipping me? MFC, I'll try it, ready for anything, I'm chatty friendly, engaging, ready for anal, ready for flashing...and nuthin. Log off and cry. BUT I've learned MFC is a particular beast to be approached a certain way and I'm willing to try it again.

The members who profess their love yet don’t spend or spend 5 cents..this entire year has been slow and frustrating and I have spent more time off cam than on cam.
I took months off, weeks off…I have to force myself to log on now and try.
so many times in the past month I get ready with intention to cam and just can’t. Too many bad memories of dead room, silence and rude people.
I feel it’s not long till I wont cam much longer, because my mind and body now have a negative association with it, and that makes logging on very hard.
Its difficult transitioning out of it, but my heart deep inside kinda tells me my life’s mission is something else.
cam doesn’t feed my soul.

The fact of the matter is like others have said, some sites work for you and some don't, it doesn't matter.
Different sites have different "types" of guys as it depends on what that site "pushes" for.

Recently (2 weeks ago) a model who has streamed on CB, MFC and BONGA for the past 6 years has stopped going to MFC and CB because she earns nothing on those, and instead, she is on only BONGA now and while she doesn't get 100s of viewers, she has a nice amount of good regulars there who tip her daily and enough to live on. Most other people would not recommend BONGA, myself included (as a viewer/tipper), yet for some it DOES work.

To add my two cents, as a lot of others have given you good advice (but seems like you don’t really respond to those.) try making videos if you feel like camming is driving you up the wall and try selling them on different clip sites or even on SC itself.

Another option is to forget about token sites all together and try pay per minute sites. Streamate is great at this. You just need to have a lot of patience and a good personality.

The most important thing is taking care of your mental health. Camming can take a toll on one’s health is things doesn’t go well for several days, weeks, month?
