Wow, this is sure to improve traffic.

Im pretty sure streamate.com doesnt have ads so running adblockers is moot and does end up disrupting performance. Its a recommendation not a requirement. Which means you may keep seeing the error pop up.

Also plenty sites request users to turn off adblockers maybe for performance or ad revenue. This isn't new.

Lol i love it, streamate is finally figuring out solutions for better streaming experience, and of course YOU complain.

One of the reasons for the alert could also be that certain adblockers block some legit Streamate addresses (because porn), so they're recommending you turn it off to avoid any problems. I've had to whitelist certain URLs in my Pi-hole and adblocker on both the model and member sides of things. One set of default rules from a blocker I once installed blocked 90% of images on the site. My Pi-hole had to be tweaked or I couldn't stream at all.

Hello,

I would just like to confirm that Streamate is not using any softwares that deal with adblockers- in that sense, I'm thinking that the error you had was probably coming directly from your browser or any other app/software you've got installed on your computer.

Should you have any more info on this, please feel free to share it with so that I can have a look into it.

Many thanks,

Izabela
