Starting to panic? Slow, slower, silent room

Hi guys !

This is my first year of token sites (started on Stripchat in November) and this month has been extremely bad for me. Hardly any users, no matter what I do, nobody chats, let alone tips. I suffer from panic attacks and since it is my main job, with every bad day I get more scared that I don't earn enough to pay my bills anymore. I have no idea why it suddenly "crashed" or what I'm doing wrong.To put it in numbers, I previously had at least 3,000 to 6,000 tokens almost every day (6,000 was a very good day then) now it's maybe 800 in 4 hours. This also makes my stripscore and my place among the models keep going downhill very fast and makes me nervous and sad and I feel like I’m not what the viewers want anymore and that I don’t give them a good enough show.

I am not on strip chat i am on Streamate. We all have good and bad days. Many hugs. Sometimes if affects the mood too much I would take a day off for personal time. Doing something that makes you feel good could help your mood get back to positive. Sex work has ebbs and flows and if this particular site isn’t going well perhaps try another or try something different? Sometimes just changing your cam set up a little can make a difference. I think best thing is doing what makes you feel good and then the customers see your genuine positive energy and attracted to that naturally. You could also watch other girls shows to get ideas what works and what doesn’t and even see how other ladies try to keep calm when they are also in a low money period.

I'm on CB and it's been slow for me too. I still have the random great stream, but they've been particularly rare recently. It's not me and it's not you. I know it feels like it and it's something that I also struggle with. However, summertime slump is a real thing that affects many different businesses, including sex work. It should pick up in a month or so. I know what it's like to struggle and worry about paying your bills, let alone having enough money for food. Join mturk. You can do work on there while you're camming when it's slow. Make some clips/pic sets. Try a different site and make use of the new tag. It's not helpful now, but when things start picking back up for you, make sure you save save save for when things aren't going so great. Hugs to you. Summer is always a slower time for me in general with everyone on vacation/holiday. That being said, don't put all your eggs in one basket. If it's slow and killing your moral, take some content and add to help boost your tokens. Add another site, splitcam, try something new, bright lingerie, fingerpaint lol, go outside if you can. Whatever you do, keep trying. Everyone has slumps and ya just gotta adapt. In the future, try to save as much as you can so the financial stress doesn't kill your mood.

I like to think of camming like fishing. Some days you will catch everything and it's fucking amazing. Other days the fish just won't bite. Do some self care, maybe have a good cry if you need to and go again. Try different lures for those fish!

I have noticed the same thing SPECIFICALLY to Stripchat. They used to have huge marketing and traffic campaigns that brought in excellent traffic. I remember I asked a user how he found the site and he said it was a Snapchat clickable advertisement... Have you ever considered camming on a different site? I was on MFC for a few years full time then stopped full time camming when I got into porn and would then just hop on here and there. This did NOT work well for me (I had a lot of regulars who were used to my schedule). I joined Naked.com (I would not recommend as it's full of trolls but just as an example) and was actually able to make money consistently and daily from it. So it's the vibe of having a profile on another cam site and just hopping on there whenever it's slow for you on your original one. I've personally used and loved CamSoda for a few years now on the rare occasion I DO cam because it's SUPER user friendly and foolproof. They have a shitload of built in games and tip + countdown templates to pick and choose from as well as options to have a fan club, sell vids, etc.

I thank you for your advice. I'm already on chaturbate and stripchat, i think I couldn't manage more sites, especially since I have the impression that they only offer little traffic for german models. I’ve also have an OF with 1 Fan and it seems nobody is interested in my vids or photos so I currently have little motivation to produce new content.

The german webcam sites are also a joke, you get less than 25% plus chargebacks. The bad thing is, I've tried everything. I was naked, dressed, with a fucking machine and without ,but nothing seems to interest the members anymore. I also talked to myself, smiled , just so that people would at least chat. But there were only comments like “in” (the dildo) or I was sent 20 tokens for a footjob, although I don't even offer this and certainly not for so little. Or someone said to me that I’m always available, so that seems to be what they think about me.

I felt even worse and taken advantage of. I'm running out of ideas and I know you shouldn't do that, but if I look into other rooms and then see that it works there, just somehow not in my room, or I see tippers who were previously in my room ,who tell me how pretty and personable I am and how well I manage my room and and then throwing huge numbers elsewhere,i feel even more of a failure.I have the feeling these people use me to be entertained and then all the tips are given elsewhere. I have even been informed by members that a certain model always has members in their room who give a lot of tips but who were in my room before and told me all the time how great I am. I was somehow so embarrassed that I went offline.

I don't want to complain here, but where else can you be so open if not here.

I have now taken a few days off because it just burdens me too much to be under this pressure all the time.

Sending hugs and positivity to you! Don't take bad periods of time personally, so don't let it affect your self-confidence. There are days and weeks when you traffic is pretty much similar to a graveyard. But bear in mind, that does not mean it will stay like that! Keep your head high and never lose faith, better days are coming... and if they are not coming, I would suggest turning towards another website. Do a little bit of research on each of them and choose the one that seems to suit your personality the best.

Also, OF is booming right now, so why not sell content as a side hustle to finance yourself even more?

I totally can relate about turning off the bright lights and wanting to wash off all the make up/put your hair up/take off the wig mood!!!!! I always suggest switching your hustle if after 2 hours it's not fruitful. Go film some clips. Make some advertising GIFs/logo images/update social channels. Update fan clubs. Create customer contact lists so you can reach out to your customers when you are totally ready to hang out. Drive traffic to you if there is no organic traffic when you are live.

This last week was the worst since I started to broadcast. A lot of dudes with pink and purple colors, and no one tipping, worst yet its they want free shows or are cheapskates :/.
