I find myself liking the thigh-high socks (or leggings) more and more all the time. It may be a comfort thing for you ladies but I find it to be an extremely sexy look. It almost seems counter intuitive that covering lovely legs with long socks would be an appealing look, but I find that to be the case. Why do you suppose this is so? And do they feel as good as they look, or are they a bit uncomfortable and a sacrifice you make to appeal to a lech such as I who thinks you look ever so hot in them?

I think that they are hot because we desire what we can't have ( or see). I think there may be a correlation here as to why ankles and shoulders were bone builders several score ago.
I believe thigh highs also accentuate the legs and visually draw the eye to the naughty bits several inches to the north.
Personally my socks are super comfy. Like putting on a Polar Bear skin on backwards, just with less fuzz...
