So, how's traffic on MFC on New Years Eve?

After Christmas is over and the in-laws are gone, my son will be at his dads for 8 days. I really want to get a lot of cam time in and hopefully have a decent first paycheck even though I've only made a little money (but enough to make me happy the first two times!) the first two days I was on.

I really want to do a fun NYE show and was wondering for the models that have been around, how is NYE traffic? I'm sure it varies. I wonder if a lot of models go out and have fun instead of cam, so maybe I will have a decent chance of having a busy room. One can hope!

This is my first holiday season camming, so I can't really answer your question, but you'd probably get more responses to this in the Model's Only section- there's an area specifically for MFC questions! Definitely get verified, if you haven't yet!

I am also planning on camming w/ my friend and we were talking about this as well! we cam every weekend together and really want to make a fun NYE show but honestly if its going to suck i would much rather go out. I will also have 4-5 days w/ no child and plan on going to her house from NYE for 4-5 days so we can pull some crazy numbers… after the disgrace December has been i am shooting for a very high goal in January. This is my first year as a cam model so hopefully it is great! I say if u have a stream mate account and have no chance in destroying a camscore like on mfc its deff worth a try thats where we will be!!! I would love to try MFC but i am terrified of my camscore going down on a holiday or event like NYE! good luck!!

I have a streamate account, but it's through a damn agency. UGH! I so wish I had found these forums before I went and did that. My cut is not that much at all, I would make more if I was going directly through streamate. My hubby and I have a couples account, but haven't used it yet, so we're going to cancel our contract and then sign up for streamate directly. I've been told by some other models that if you use your account just once then you have to wait a whole year before signing up directly with them. Luckily I have signed up for other sites, and my first 2 nights on MFC went much better than my first night on my other account!

Family guys will be with their families. Regulars will hang out with their favourites if they're on, but there are a lot of unattached pervs online trying to forget that they're alone on New Year's Eve. Be prepared for a higher-than-normal level of alcohol abuse. If you're into doing shots for tips, that may work in your favour.

New Year is the biggest holiday of the year for Russians, so there are fewer of them online. They'll be with family and/or partying or sleeping it off, depending on their schedules. My guess is that the same will be true for Romanians. That means a lot of pervs will be at loose ends.

It's been mixed for me. I went back through my archives and looked to see how active it was on NYE and early morning on the 1st. The end of 2011 was very active. I was in several rooms that evening and what seemed like a lot of chat in them, several of them were higher ranked models. Last year it was dead for me. I actually found one comment in one of the PM's I did to someone else saying:
'It is like a freaking ghost town online tonight!'
So, I guess if there's not a lot of models online it might be good for those who are.

I find the stats quite interesting, and thanks for posting them.

It is apparent that New Years Eve is the best bet for working rather than New Years Day. It looks like an average day when compared to the average while New Years Day there is a significant drop in all stats. What I find the most interesting is the increase in models online but a decrease in the amount privates and groups, year to year. It will be interesting to see if the trend continued in 2013.
