Just watched a video of my favorite model friend on Camwhores TV. I know it is a private show because she never does nude in public chat. She also doesn't let people record unless they pay extra tokens. She would only grant this to someone she knows, so this private show was either recorded illegally or was for a privileged member. In the video she is chatting to this guy, another thing she rarely does unless she knows the member reasonably well. She was sick last week, and in the video she is sweating and coughing. So I know it is very recent. (Uploaded 18hrs ago). I think she should know that this member is uploading her private shows. What does everyone think?

I'm torn on this one, cuz if she's sick extra stress and being disappointed in a Reg or having hurt feelings, isn't going to be fun, or speed up recovery. But at the same time, she should probably know who is doing it, and it sounds like she'd be able to tell.

Not a model, and just my 2cents worth, but I would tell her once her health has improved - remembering that it could have been recorded by a spy, not necessarily the viewer who initiated the pvt.
And be ready to explain how you found the video of her on that site......

This was one of my first thoughts too.

She may appreciate finding out this video got posted by someone, but don’t be surprised if she’s not happy with you for being on that website in the first place.

why are you visiting that site?

Just throwing out my .02

I had someone tell me that they saw my content there and other places. It did not endear me to them, rather, I felt pretty disgusted that they were even on those sites. I already knew my content was everywhere. Having someone else tell me (someone who I thought would never go to those places) just pissed me off. It's insulting of clients to assume that we, the providers, don't already know what content has been spread and where. It's further insulting knowing that someone who you felt was a decent person turns out to not be.

Nienna, I really think this is one of those things that you don't need to bring up with your friend. It won't do her any good, it's done, and it happens all the time. Camwhores is where lowlife assholes upload pirated stuff of models and call them scamsluts and cunts, etc., and smugly congratulate each other for fucking them out of revenue, oblivious to their own hypocrisy. Even I know about it, which should tell you something.

I would always want to know. ESPECIALLY because it sounds like the culprit will be easy to identify and therefore she can take action to prevent further recordings being posted.
That said, knowing that my regulars go on those sites and consume my stolen content would not make me feel good about you. Please stop doing that.

If I were in your shoes I would:
1. make an anon account and tell her from that.
2. apologize and stop visiting those sites.

On a related note: I’m not a legal expert but wouldn’t these stolen videos (cam shows recorded without permission and shared elsewhere) fall under the legal definition of “non consensual pornography,” aka “revenge porn?” Because copyright issues aside, that’s against the law in all but a handful of states.

I always see people talk about this in terms of copyright/stolen content, which is of course true. But the culprits could be guilty of far more serious violations, if you really chose to pursue it. Or am I way off?

Yeah, but I think these sites operate out of countries that are not following such laws, so....

True, but I’m talking more about the uploaders than the site itself. The person that recorded without permission and then shared it online.

I’m guessing you could prosecute the person that pirated and shared the video without any cooperation from the pirate website if you did it correctly.

I was just gonna say the camwhores dude is in Russia I believe. He's a known pest.

I'd love to see someone prosecute these fucks... hmmmm. It would certainly be an investment in time and resources, but someone such as myself who's already fully out to family and friends etc could very well decide it's a battle worth fighting at some point, just for the pure pleasure of it...

Yes I see what you mean, but any prosecution would still need some cooperation from the site I would think to prove who the user who uploaded the video actually was in real life.

And to the OP @Nienna , here is another spin on it:

After reading about such sites here I decided to check to see if there were videos of my model friend. There are / were :(
Even to the point of one of the main uploaders saying in his profile that he was specifically looking for and keen to see other videos of her.

I told my friend and she was upset, not that the videos are there, she is not a new model, but that upset I had told her. She said she knew such videos are out there (It goes with the job) but by me telling her it brought the horrible issue to the forefront of her thoughts, and she has enough things to deal with in her life and work as it is without thinking about things that are far too costly (in time and money) to solve. And ultimately cannot be solved anyway.

Also, do not be too quick to point the finger at a specific user, if your friend or her studio allows spying (especially free spying by fan-club on SC) , the video could have been made by ANYONE.

Thinking it through a little more, using CB as an arbitrary example:

— If you grab proof (screenshot etc) that the video was on the pirate site… including any uploader username or upload date that site might display… and share it with authorities as a non consensual porn complaint…

— Assuming the authorities look into it, they’ll contact CB (and CB makes it clear each time you visit the site that they cooperate fully with authorities)…

— CB could provide 1) proof the show was from their platform/your model page, 2) usernames and IP addresses of whomever they know was watching (MUCH easier to pinpoint for a private show, because those members have tokens, so CB also knows some of their personal info)…

— From all of that (and maybe an assist from an ISP), authorities could find the person responsible and where they live. Depending on the laws in that place, they could get prosecuted, even with no help from the pirate site.

— and aside from criminal charges you might be able to sue for damages too, if you went all-out.

This is likely much easier said than done for a lot of reasons, but my point is, it doesn’t seem TOO impossible. I don’t know.

I like the way you think. I know SM cooperates fully w authorities too. I would assume MFC, and SC do also. Oh man that would be such a pure pleasure to call out some of these sleazy people hiding behind their keyboards and screen names, and get a court summons. What an exciting morning 🔥. Thank you for this.

Fine if no-one spied., but if the site has spying allowed, how do the authorities know who to prosecute? To know exactly who to prosecute you need the cooperation of the pirate site, and that isn't going to happen.

ETA

Of course I would love to see all these dickless wonders who upload content to these sites scared shitless (or even actually found guilty) through a prosecution!

The sites know who spied in many cases. Plus tbf its pretty easy to find uploaded shows where it was a true exclusive. Maybe a model couldn't nail every specific one, but there'd be a plethora off little cock weasels to pick and choose from. #retirementhobbyplans hehe

oh of course, but that doesn't tell who uploaded to the pirate site. (I'ts a shitty mess, I hate that there are people who do this!)
Good point, but like many nefarious deeds you locate and pinpoint the identity of one little shit nugget, they all start squealing on each other. You just need to follow the line to the end. Where there's a will there's most definitely a way.

Oh! now if only I was independently wealthy, that is something I would happily spend money and time on. Helping models and taking down scumbags.

Well, again using CB as an example:

If I spy on a private show, CB knows exactly who I am, where I logged in from and how much of the show I watched. Because on CB, spying costs tokens, and buying tokens requires a method of payment … which requires some ID… and so on.

Now in the example you gave, if we’re on a site that allows free spying for fan clubs or whatever, that makes it tougher to narrow down. But again - say 10 fan club members are spying. That’s 10 IP addresses. Theoretically, an ISP for those addresses could tell authorities more info about the user’s online activity to help narrow it down.

Maybe they don’t find the person in the end - or find them in a country/state where they can’t really pursue charges - but I bet some of these people are easier for authorities to discover than we might imagine, IF there is reason to suspect them of a crime. (But as with any crime, if nobody files a complaint, nothing happens).

Not a model, and just my 2cents worth, but I would tell her once her health has improved - remembering that it could have been recorded by a spy, not necessarily the viewer who initiated the pvt.
And be ready to explain how you found the video of her on that site......

THIS ^^ regarding the whole SPY, if she has spying enabled, then this could very well be it, especially if the spying is cheap and more so if spy is cheaper than PVT and she only gets nude in the pvt not public, I know plenty of models who say they get a lot of guys spying because the spy rate is lower than the private cost itself.

If she is wearing something specific so she can identify more for which day it was, or she did something more specific (or time of day she was on, something), then she can at least look in her token history to see..
Or, I suppose if she is talking/doing specific things she may easily remember who it was with and can look in the token history that way, but I would definitely say don't jump to conclusions, it's easy to point fingers and be wrong, and she could easily lose a legit (someone not uploading the content) regular.

Telling her can all depend on how she is as an individual and her personality.
I definitely know some models who would like to know so they can try remove them, know just "to know", or some who know it happens but know how difficult it is to remove them so they want to pretend it doesn't happen, so having someone go to their room and mention it would be bad - if you really do want to, do what was suggested above, use a different account, but let her know in a tipnote so you're not telling the whole room they can go get a free show.

A few things here ...
About 3 months ago my friend was informed by another regular "friend" that he saw videos of her private shows on Camwhores. She was very distraught.
The friend was blocked from her page for his help, which distressed her even more. I discussed this in another thread. Here is the link if anyone cares enough. https://www.ambercutie.com/forums/t...ying-about-where-their-models-are-from.43736/
She went to her studio admins. They basically shrugged her off, and told her many models get recorded, and that there was nothing she could do about it. They wouldn't help her at all.
She told me about it in PM and I offered to look into it for her. I looked in this forum. I asked @StormDMCA . This was the reply :
"Unfortunately it is really hard to remove the content from Camwhores network sites.
The owner is known for staying 100% anonymous and ignoring every single DMCA claim.
In the past we managed to remove some videos for our clients, but now he has changed hosting provider and it got harder".
My response :
"Thank you for the prompt reply! My friend is distraught that some of her private shows were recorded and uploaded without her permission. She only does nude shows in pvt, and never allows recorded shows, so she knows these are pirated. At least Camwhores shows the user names of those individuals that upload so that she can deal with them.
On a related note, she was also upset to find that the thumbnails of these videos, (which are nude), come up on Google Search (Images) when she typed in her cam name. They all came from Camwhores. Is there any way these can be removed?
Thanks again for your input!"
So I went to look at the videos. They were all about a year to six months old. They were all "private", i.e., only "friends" of the uploader could view them. I had no desire to befriend any of these scumbags, and I didn't want to watch them anyway.
I did recognize some of the posters who uploaded from her room. I reported back to her and offered to tell her their usernames.
Her response was unexpected. She said bitterly, "Simon, I have been bought and sold a lot the past year and a half" She was not remotely interested, She was resigned to it, and she told me to drop it.

Well, I didn't completely drop it. Every now and then I would check Camwhores, but there was no activity.

Until last week. There have been three new videos of her posted, all by the same user. The idiot was stupid enough to use the same user name on camwhores as he does in her room. The latest one was not marked "private" Anyone could watch, so I watched part of it. I was angry because she was chatting and laughing in this private, and I thought her trust was being abused.
However, some of you have rightly pointed out something I did not think of. The uploader may have just spied on her and recorded. She was not necessarily in private with the uploader.

So I talked to her yesterday. Her throat is still sore. I decided to just drop it. Nothing good will come of me telling her about it. I thank you all for your advice.

BUT PLEASE ... I am not a fan of Camwhores TV. I know what they do, and I hate it, and their scumbag members. I just need that at least known.

If she told you to drop it, she knows (been told by her studio) that it's impossible or near so, to get stuff removed, unfortunately, so she is needing to pretend like it isn't happening like how some models do so they can not think about or worry, and continue with their work. So, with this, I would highly suggest ignoring it. She herself has told you to drop it.

So I learned about branditscan from some models yesterday. They will remove the links for the cam name to the google search and do a lot of super cool stuff. Might not be relevant to your friend, but anyone else reading this thread; you can actually gift your fave model a year of this service, and several successful big name models have told me it's really a great service. I trust them when they say this, because I know these chicks don't mess around, when it comes to business and money.

I'm gonna be signing up ASAP. Yeah they probably can't fuck w this camwhore dude, but unlinking the google search results is a pretty fucking cool service in and of itself. Plus scanning and getting other stuff that's US taken down.
