Nothing has changed abt how i look , i have 170,000 followers , if i promote room and it is on main page i will grow to 100-200 views then boom soon as the promotion end im burried on the site w models w 5-10 views . Ive contacted support and they CLAIM they dont shadowban . Im not sure what to do about this . @punker barbie please help . Id frankly rather my account jus be banned then lied to , bc if im not shadowbanned i frankly cant think of another reason to go from 500-800 views on average to 30-50 thats NOT a normal jump . If there is another possible reason for this lmk bc il try everything this has put me in a awful situation

I don't even know if a shadowban exists. I think it's just something concocted because people can't understand why they are having no traffic, either suddenly or for a while.
It's easier to make up something like that and blame it on that than try figure out other reasons why it may be happening.

it doesnt make sense for chaturbate to handicap a top performer. but what @NotYou said is on point. sometimes members lose interest in you, and its not necessarily anything you are doing wrong. it just happens.
i recommend changing up some things. may it be your look, background, new show ideas, new toys, or trying new sites. adding new sites like clip sites might help generate new traffic to your camroom.

The only website I know of that shadowbans is Instagram and I think at one point Twitter did or still does, but none of the cam sites are going to do this. If they don't want you as a model then they will terminate or ban your account and you're done. The Illuminati-esque conspiracies about sites are laughable.

document what you are seeing with screenshots without accusing chaturbate of shadowbanning. be descriptive and polite.
if you really believe that a site is sabotaging you, change sites.

The only thing i can truly think of is the fact that they are always changing algorithms and how ranking seems to work and placements. I think they try experiments or try to make it so the less popular rooms get a better chance. We can never know the ins and outs unfortunately, but that is the most likely reason, them fucking with everything.
How many colored usernames in your room? how many in those around you? whats your satisfaction score? (there are people that believe satisfaction score can play a role)

Off-topic somewhat, but as far as shadow banning comments that have been added to someone else's video goes, Youtube is also notorious for it. Usually it's due to political sensitivities (arguably justifiable), but other times seemingly at random or because their AI sees a certain pair or trio of words appear in the same sentence or paragraph.
I've had more than a few of my totally innocuous comments at Youtube that, a day or two after I posted them, still appear if I view them from my logged-in browser but don't appear if I view the video from a private/incognito browser session.

I really cant answer about shadowban but i remember one situation , with very popular girl from 1st page, she is all the time on first page but some months or maybe year ago i saw her that she has so few people in room. I entered her room, her mods were discussing wtf, and that they cant find her on page.... This girl was sittig and having tears in her eyes, she barely earned 300 tokens... No idea how they fixed it but very quickly everything back to normal. I dont know about shadowban but im sure they have ways to make room issues. You can read some older posts on reddit when tippers are complaining that some rooms are showing as black screen when they enter it ..... I saw very often something like this ( my numbers of viewers dropped down to very low) : greys, or even violets without tokens , come and stay in room and those with tokens instantly leave. Instatnly, even without chance to check if they like me or not. Coming, leaving like they couldnt see me or smthng. I was curious if its possible if they direct traffic to more popular rooms to make those guys spend more? Dont know but trust me i have feeling that something going on,
yea to me its the lying/ lack of help from the site thats bothering me . ive made cb soooo much over the years its been a wakeup call but i cant shake the feeling of being used and abused and like disposed super icky feeling
