I'm sure we discussed that she grew her endeavors onto Twitch.TV soon after, but here's the latest with her:

Originally it was suspected that she was banned from Twitch for discussing CB and porn stuff too much, but looks like a shady digital content creator is really at fault. Contracts are important when you purchase digital imagery. She claims she owned the digital IP due to payment and shows receipts for those purchases, but ultimately she might be SOL with it. *shrug*.

twitlonger of her explanation with screenshots: https://www.twitlonger.com/show/n_1srf7lh

The original content creator could very well be shady, but after reading her "twitlonger" reply, I can't help but think that there are possible additional "art assets" that were created that weren't covered by her initial payment to the creator, and this seems to be the main point of contention here based on her reply. Also, simply paying someone and being "told" that you own the IP is a far cry from having an actual contracted legal document in hand that spells out the longevity and terms of the IP ownership. Secondly, even if an agreement for usage of an IP was made, the original content creator still owns the 'copyright' of everything he/she created, and there is nothing to prevent the creator from issuing a "take down" notice(under DMCA provisions) if problems arise - such as the disagreement(s) we see implicated in her reply.

Like @AudriTwo said, paid paypal FF and then had no actual legal documents spelling out ownership and rights. The creator is a jackass but this is also naive on the part of the model.

Still don't understand how so many jacked off to this vs a live body. Penises are weird.

One could say the same thing about romance novels and how so many women get intrigued by them. Like most things, it plays on the emotions. But, yeah, I do agree I find it odd that it was such hit. Give me the real thing.

Lol, I must be a real 100% freak because I don't find either odd.
I love animation porn, and I also love romance novels... in an unashamedly sexual, non-platonic, non-monogamous way.
Animation porn doesn't play on my emotions (I like the type with zero story line), but I guess romance novels do somewhat.
What's that called a digi-sexual? A mind sex freak? There's probably a formal term out there for it somewhere.

I do wonder if digitrevx DMCA old videos that were still up with 'their' ip.

As far as the whole issue.

Projekt melody negotiated the original deal. Which is great. Not getting a real contract, not so great.

I think the problem is they went back for more services. Without an additional agreement. They should have agreed on a rate up front, hours, contract, IP, extra. But sense nether side forced this issue up front, I'm not surprised there is now a billing dispute.

I think it's a mistake not to pay the artist. Even if it's more then they expected, it's probably less then hiring a lawyer. Plus they could probable have gotten the artist to agree in writing that they own the IP to those additional assets.

They tried to side step the issue by no longer using those assets. But I don't think IP law works that way. I mean, if I make a batman movie, sell it. Even if I stop making new batman movies, that doesn't mean my old batman movies didn't violate IP laws. The artist could probable still claim damages for every show, stream, extra, that IP was used on.

By emotions, I'm not necessarily referring to anger, love, etc. More along the lines of desire, sexuality, horny, etc. There are time where animated porn can be interesting, such as the various renditions of Betty and Wilma or the various Disney characters, etc. Not that it turns me on but it's interesting in that people take those to that degree.

I've read a few romance novels, and same thing as with the cartoons. Interesting. But not something that makes me thing relationships are that way, horny, etc.

I'm confused but it doesn't matter. Maybe you are more emotionally complicated than I am. No shame in that. I don't call desire, horniness, and any of that emotion. Sure, if it happens to be with someone I love, but by itself, inherently, it's all nonemotional for me. Just an animal instinctual need. You are an interesting, complex person. The guys I live with are like that too.

ETA; To be specific I have no emotions tied to basic sexual needs, unless they happen to occur with a person that I have already developed romantic love for. There is no connection there for me, and never has been. It's just lust. Unless, like I said, it happens to occur simultaneously with someone I love. I'm not ashamed of that. But I also know there are many other people who cannot/ do not separate sexuality, desire and emotion, and I am accepting of that way too, no judgement, it's interesting and cool. Neither is right or wrong. They just are.

Maybe it's the same thing, just worded differently? I view desire, lust, arousal as an emotional responses. But, I'm certainly no expert in the matter.

I'm not either. I debated it with my boyfriend, because it's interesting (and I was scared that I had the definition for the word emotion wrong all these years), and he saw it like you, he said they (desire, horniness etc) are feelings. They are feelings to me too... but only crotchal in nature :haha: Whereas anger, love etc are physical feelings to me aswell, but in my chest/ heart. So it's probably conceptual semantics over the terms feelings, emotions, and physical feelings, which is confusing.

ETA; Anyways sorry to derail people, this debate is just way more exciting (to me) than shopping for cheese and soap online... yawn. Chores 💤
