Have never bothered setting my PM's to friends only. It doesn't take long to ignore and hide models who PM me if they are bothersome. Have only had to do it once this year so far. But would have 50 or so on my ignore list now.

I ended up switching my PMs to friends-only, but it was because of annoying members, not models. I was sick of getting crap like basics telling me to ask models to do things (because basics were muted and they couldn't ask themselves).
Of course, that was before I started tipping big and keeping a lot of tokens in my account. So I guess I might have turned off PMs for non-friends before any models were very interested in my tokens... might be an interesting experiment to turn on PMs for non-friends and see what happens. (but I don't think I will.)
I've gotten random MFC mail from models I don't know. (Probably due to having PMs turned off for non-friends.) One sent me a password for a random pic set.
